I had not been unemployed for nearly 20 years. All of a sudden I found myself in that situation without work due to company issues outside my control and needed to start again to find casual and or full-time employment. In my case, I haven't had to do this in such a long I was initially lost and didn't know where to start looking for work and didn't know which employment companies were any good.

Out of all the employment agencies I was dealing with online and via SEEK, Drake was by far the most recommended, most reputable and most professional to deal with. Corresponding with unprofessional or possible dodgy labour hire agencies was a concern of mine, particularly as they take all your information and provided me little to no support, very vague information and guidance, and a lot of running around leaving me in the dark.

Drake by far was the most prefessional out of all of them. It was an easy decision for me to continue and proceed with them instead of the other job offers I was eventually managed to get. I am now employed with Drake who have put me to casual work with a very reputable company with clear progression to full time work.

If you are in the same position and are looking for work and don't know which employment agency/labour hire etc is any good, I highly recommend contacting Drake as part of your job search. If I ever ended up in this position again in the future for what ever reason, Drake will be my first point of call for looking for work. I just wish I heard of them sooner and not wasted as much time with some of the others.

Highly recommend anyone interested to speak with Yasman at Drake. She got me through the process of getting employed again and is your best point of contact if you want someone reliable to talk and deal with. Jaden from their is also exceptionally professional and was great to deal with.

Having been placed in a role by Drake I was compelled to work hard and do the company proud. However as I realised quickly. I along with all other Drake 'agents I worked with, there was no correspondence or communication by Drake staff. In particular Yasmine, seems nice at first. However her poor communication, lack of responsibility and non effort towards myself and other 'Drake staff' seemed as if we were unappreciated and or a liability. I wouldn't reccomend pursuing employment with Drake. They do not have your back on a personal and genuine level and will simply use you as long as it suits them.
