Just finished the Cowan to Terrigal hike. I have been on several Home Comfort Hiking tours now and every one has been excellent. Well organised, excellent value and most importantly great fun. No need to carry a heavy pack, comfortable accommodation and if needed a minibus to move us or our luggage around. Marcus is an excellent guide and makes sure everybody is enjoying the trip. I will definitely be doing further trips with Marcus.

Clyde and I thoroughly enjoyed our BouddiHawk walk over the last few days. It was quite challenging but Marcus is great at explaining exactly what’s involved at every stage of the walk so we felt prepared. Everyone is encouraged to travel at their own pace with no pressure to keep up with the fastest person! Marcus had arranged extremely comfortable accommodation along the hike and we had some great meals at the end of each day. These hikes are a lovely way to meet new and interesting people as well as seeing some of our beautiful Australian scenery.

I've just been on the BouddiHawk walk with Marcus and it was wonderful. He's an excellent guide - the trip had been well prepared and the walk was perfectly calibrated over the four days. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, the food very good and we felt extremely well looked after but most importantly, it was huge fun - from the conversations along the way to hilarious board and card games and even a bit of dancing one night - I couldn't recommend Marcus and Home Comforts Hiking more highly.

Thank you Marcus - Our Kumano Kodo walk was wonderful. The personalised itineraries worked well for us and we really appreciate the fact that you made changes for us at relatively short notice. The walking distances and overnight stops were well thought through. All the accommodation was great, but absolute standouts for us were all the family run guesthouses where we were treated with great hospitality and kindness, and ate amazing food. We really felt that we were immersed in Japanese culture.

Just finished the Cowan to Terrigal hike with Marcus @ Home Comforts Hiking, had a great time. The hike was well organised and lots of fun with great scenery and hiking. Home comfort hikes … it’s there in the name and Marcus is a wonderful guide. Very attentive to people’s various needs and does his homework on the tracks eg scenery, difficulty, conditions, etc. Jenny and I recently completed the Cowan - Terrigal hike 4 days / 3 nights. This included 2 sections of the Great North Walk and Bouddi track with good variety and some great scenic locations. 2 nights on Dangar Island was a highlight.

We will definitely do more hikes with Marcus.
