I recently had the pleasure of staying at Motel Grande and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From the warm welcome at check-in to the friendly assistance throughout my stay, the top-notch service truly made my trip special.

The room was clean, cozy, and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed. But what really stood out was the exceptional customer service - the team was always available to help with a smile.

I highly recommend Motel Grande to anyone looking for a hassle-free and comfortable stay. Thank you to the entire team for making my visit so memorable!

Owing to a couple of hiccups during our day, that was not the fault of the Motel. |They ( Management and Staff) went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.|This was our second visit here this year and we will be back again in the New Year.|The windows to the rooms closest to the main road are fitted with roller shields to cut out the noise

I only gave a 1 star as I couldn't give none. PLEASE DO NOT stay at this hotel. VERY DISHONEST new owners. If you do just because you have a confirmation of your booking doesn't mean they won't sell your room for a higher price.
We booked 2 rooms for TAMWORTH MUSIC FESTIVAL 7 months in advance. We received an email confirming the booking. We reconfirmed this booking in person in October 2024 when we stayed for 2 nights. The ownerst even showed us the rooms we would be staying in. The hotel then contacted us in late November by email to inform us that they wanted to resell the rooms for 2.5 times more than the confirmed price we had been given. They cancelled our booking. VERY POOR Customer service and communication. This is not how you treat customers. Very unprofessional. So be VERY WARY of this hotel.

As soon as we walked into the room I got a fat whiff of dead rats. It’s smelled ratchet in their and it hurt to breath. They desperately need air freshener or a diffuser. The sheet were not freshly washed with dirt steins and marks on them, and my kids couldn’t sleep due to the massive air conditioning keeping us up all night.

Hotel Grande is nicely located on the old main road, about a 3-5 minute drive to Tamworth CBD, depending on the star rating of your Uber driver. Shout out to Warren. Legend.||Upon pulling into the hotel area, you're met with a quaint little 11 units/rooms so not overly busy, if at all. During checking in, hotel staff were very polite and helpful and did whatever they could to accommodate you.||I read reviews on this place before booking and after what seemed like nothing but good things being said, I booked this room for $130 a night, (which based off reviews seemed to good to be true) and expected $130 standards (not in a good way). Walking into the room, I was stoked. The room was clean, spacious, beds were comfortable and the shower was probably the best water pressure I'd ever had in a room. Although the shower was a little small, it felt homely so that was a nice touch. The air con worked first go straight away, no 10 minute delay and the roller shutters were a good addition and easily operated. TV was new and gave options for all channels and digital movie services to log into your account. ||Housekeeping fixed everything and replaced all things that were used and it was done well. 5/5 there.||I'll just say this. I've stayed in a lot of places in Tamworth and I'd say this was the best place besides The Powerhouse. But if im looking for great value, great amenities and service, this is it. I'd honestly stay here over The Powerhouse and will book every time I go back. ||Absolutely outstanding place. Thank you and well done to the Hotel Grande team 👏🏻

Great service and easy to access.
Had the flat out the back, nice and quiet, roomy, and the light block in the main bedroom worked a treat.
Air-conditioning good, but only complaint - no electric blankets, and in the dead of winter, when I got back from a meeting after 10pm, the bed was very cold for ages!

Excellent motel. I stayed here recently for emergency travel with my young daughter. The patron was accommodating and friendly and at very short notice, arranged for our room key to be accessed after hours via a lock box.
Our room was very clean and neat. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were well thought out. Also, the shower was instantly hot and there was amazing water pressure. The traffic noise was minimal and there was good sound insulation between adjacent rooms.
The motel is conveniently within walking distance to clubs and a supermarket. Thank you for hosting us at short notice, we will return (hopefully for a planned visit next time).
