I’m not one to write reviews but wanted to share my experience here. After moving to the area a few years ago, I saw the Google reviews for this LPO when searching for the closest place and wondered what I was in for. The 1* reviews couldn’t have been more incorrect as far as I can see & it feels pretty unfair to see it portrayed this badly but perhaps most people that have a good experience don’t bother to comment.

Every visit, the staff are polite & helpful. Not just polite but more often than not also cheerful & getting things done in a timely manner. A really pleasant experience. In the time I’ve lived locally we’ve done parcel collections, posting within Aus & internationally, passport photos & applications etc. all without issue. Even baby passport photos! They talk you through the process of whatever you’re doing so it’s clear. Probably visit every couple of weeks, although our local postie is great at getting things to us, for one things or another. Yes, sometimes you do have to wait in a queue - it’s a post office and if you go on the busiest day, it’ll probably be busy too.

I even once witnessed someone screaming at one of the ladies for an experience they’d had at another post office (?!) and she was still perfectly polite & calm. The last couple of weeks in the lead up to Christmas have been extra busy, but I still haven’t seen them be anything but nice & helpful the few times I’ve been in?

All in all - don’t know what people are complaining about and it’s driven me to write a review for the first time probably ever 😀

I came into the post office today to pick up my parcel. An Indian older employee with glasses served me and refused to give me my parcel. I showed him my address and id but he still refused to give me my parcel. He has served me before and previously has been very rude to me as well. I told him that he is very rude and he had the audacity to say ‘YES! I am rude!’. I hope the manager finds out about this and changes this.

I found the dark lady may be Indian (13/11/2024 around 4:30 pm )very rude, by her voice she was not supposed to work there as she was not focused to the job, she always try to dominate the customer. I asked for normal envelope she gave me express envelope , I asked 2 envelopes, she gave me 2 but charge for 3. She doesn’t have interest on her work , she becomes aggressive with other customers as well. I told her you didn’t do your job properly. She things that she is the boss of AU POST. Hey lady try to be customer friendly. We don’t want to see your rude behaviour in Australia post .

Poor customer service. She does'nt deserve that 1 star. Old indian lady was very rude. She wants all kinds of ID for passport application. My niece presented her Australian Citizenship Certificate, Birth Certificate, medicare & photo ID. The indian lady said those are not enough.

An Indian old man employee with glasses served me today when I came to pick up my parcel, he been very rude to me not only today but another time too. I told him that he very rude and he had the audacity to say YES! I’m RUDE! OMG 😳he seems like very proud of him like that.? Who’s the manager of the post office? Do you know your staff so rude to many your customers

I would give zero stars if I could. The older female staff is very rude and doesn't even look at you when she talks to you. Does she realise she works in customer service? I asked her twice to please tape my parcel because i forgot. She ignored me, i asked her again, she then said ok but did NOT do it in the end. Luckily all the items did not fall out. I dont expect everyone to be friendly but just dont be rude. Not a pleasant experience.

Old female indian lady a bit bossy! Passport application requires only Citizenship, drivers license and medicare but she requires old passport and wont accept digital drivers license. Photo taken at blacktown post office and she said not acceptable!
Zero customer service!

Good experience collecting my parcel. A very well mannered Indian gentleman behind the counter served me and the entire process took a few minutes at most. I found the QR code collection method to be much more efficient than the old school cardboard notice.
