They make excellent food. I highly recommend it. They know how to use spices very well. Everything is simple yet delicious. We had vegetarian as well as non vegetarian. Tasted the 'banjan boranee', smoked eggplant dish which I loved a lot. Their veg dumplings were fresh and packed with flavours. The best was their chickpea biryani which is super packed with flavours.. my family had chicken biryani and they said the chicken was super tender. They've had skewers as well and they were super happy with it.

Accommodated to group of 9 in short notice. Food was flavoursome. Gave 4 stars because service was slow (very slow) half an hour after sitting for someone to take drinks order. Rye highball was incorrect. Once food was ordered and delivered to table, got told kitchen was closing and to order now if we wanted anything. Putting all this aside .. the food was nice and chilled environment which is why 4 star. They had a lot of staff on the floor so can’t see any excuse for bad service. Proper guidance would get them constant 5 star reviews. Most just looked busy behind the bar area doing nothing.

The food was delicious, service staff were friendly and courteous. Waiting time was acceptable given its a weekend dinner peak hour. Restaurant gets busy after 7pm. Food portion was sufficient to share between 4 of us. Will go again!

This restaurant amazed us. The service was wonderful and very attentive to all our needs. We chose the Banquet 1 option which is good for 2 people. Being our first time eating at an Afghani restaurant we were extremely grateful of the experience and the flavours are just fantastic. Hope to return here one day soon for another experience.

Well where to start. The place is beautiful, clean, well presented, the view is amazing, service was great, but.... The waiting time I found it too long.
We had a reservation for a table of 7. After we ordered took a bit over an hour for the entrees to start to come. No long after the main food.
Omg, food was amazing but it was a bit expensive though. I ordered butter chicken $25 and rice $12 plus drinks... The butter chicken came in a tiny bowl and literally were 6 cubes of chicken in the salsa....
The bill was more than $300 .... Besides that the experience was good.

Went to Bamiyan at Norwest for lunch today with some girlfriends it was great! The food was so delicious, lovely atmosphere inside. Looking forward to visiting again, thank you!

Yummy food with great family ran hospitality! Absolutely enjoyed the place and definitely recommend for Biriyani lovers. Just one slight feedback that the food could been a bit more warm.

Had lunch and ordered Banquet1...it had 4 entre Chicken tikka, lamb koobida kabab , steam dumplings, boulanee and and 2 mains chicken koodamani korma , lamb kurooti with sides Afghan naan bread , kabuli rice, raita, mint chutney with beer/wine... quantity was generous, food was delicious, staff was courteous and price very genuine...view of lake is spectacular...highly recommended.
