Rooms are well equipped, comfortable, clean and modern withoit taking the charm of the building away.
We went as a group of friends and had the best time.

Incredible accommodation. Thanks to my friends who invited me to join them for this trip! Beautifully preserved rooms, large area and all of the nature wonders steps away from it. Monday to Wednesday is the best time to visit because you may be lucky enough like myself to have the whole house to yourself. Drivers - be very careful, wildlife is absolutely everywhere (try to NOT drive at night - for me it cost a front of the car and for wombat - its poor life). Rangers are coming from 9 o'clock in the morning and there is no cellular reception - thankfully house provides satellite internet connectivity for basic use. There are also fossils everywhere - look around for strange patterns in a limestone. Enjoy!

Where do I start? It was a lovely, peaceful, interesting stay! It's a very old and beautifully maintained guest house built in the early 1900s. It's a few meters away from the North and South Glory, Jersey and Jillabenan Caves, several walking tracks and the Thermal Pool.

We stayed in the West Wing in a self contained apartment. I fell in love with the decor and the feel of the place. There is no mobile reception. They have internet but the connection is slightly slow and streaming is not allowed. They had great quality pots and pans, salt, pepper, oil and other appliances. There are no restaurants or food stores nearby so you need to bring all your supplies.

It was a perfect getaway from the modern world and a chance to be close to nature. We and the kids absolutely loved it.

Great facility with lots of character. Comfy bed, great shared cooking facilities with all the mod cons. Beach towels available if swimming in the thermal pool 1.4 km away - that was great and well worth doing! Caves are another wonder world. Very good. Beware, it can get warm overnight in the rooms (in June), so expect to open the window and/or have something light to wear). Staff doing their job, so helpful but not keen, if you get my drift. Cave guides were very enthusiastic by comparison.

An absolute gem. This old-fashioned lodge has been lovingly updated, maintaining the original, rustic charm. The rooms have ensuites and there is a large, modern kitchen with multiple prep areas, as well as a breakout tea upstairs. It’s situated an hour from the nearest town, however, there’s a store across the street that has everything you might need. There are half a dozen cave tours that are all excellent, and some nice hiking. The hot springs pool wasn’t really hot, but still nice for the kids. Great spot to immerse kids in nature if you prefer a comfortable bed at night. Loved this place.

Stunning place!!! Caves House is perfect, it has everything you need for a comfortable and welcoming stay. The staff is friendly and helps with tips and information. The guided tour of the cave was great, the South Glory Cave is impressive. The thermal pool is another strong point of the place, the water is crystal clear and the temperature is 28°C. It was wonderful to swim in the warm water while outside it was -1°C. Just 15min driving from Caves House, it was possible to find lots of snow spots to play with. Yarrangobilly Caves House is definitely the most beautiful place in all of NSW. A region of enormous historical, cultural and scientific value. I highly recommend.

A very clean and modern guest house, something out of 'The sound of music'. We stayed in the East Wing. Very nice kitchen and bathroom, comfy beds and furniture. It was so relaxing to unplug from the grid and switch off. Big enough for 2 families to share so the cost is reasonable. Also a great eco holiday experience as the house is powered by a mini hydro plant and uses mountain UV filtered water. Highlights were the thermal pool, cave tour and campfire under the stars (in the nearby picnic firepit).

Personal myself I haven't yet stayed here, although I have been to Yarrangobilly a few times now and the accommodation is set into the bushland!
It looks to be amazing accommodation, and the surrounding area is one for your bucket list!
If you love the bush, Yarrangobilly will not disappoint you.
