This usually happens in May every year. We drove to Batlow especially to attend this and it was totally worth it. Great selection of ciders from the region. Variety of food stalls and there was a band playing. The committee did put a lot of effort in making this festival happen and kudos to them. The fest was followed by a live music event at a local pub which went on till late at night. All in all perfect for weekend getaway.

Batlow is known for its apples and we got our apply supply for the season from here.

Glorious day in Batlow. Huge crowds but you were still able to move around easily. Lots of ciders to sample and ample food stalls, lots of music and entertainment. A great family day out

Absolutely beautiful day! The atmosphere and the vendors were amazing. There was celiac friendly food and ciders for everyone (including non-alcoholic). The entertainment was great, it's always nice to see some locals get up and show off their talents.

Great chance to try local and regional cider and ginger beer. In 2023 some circus acts were included and some music. If you are there early you can secure a Batlow beanie. Worth a trip to see. Usually runs 10 until 4. Rug up though it can be cold ....

Really love this festival. Great vendors very generous samples. I find that every
One does a great job talking to you about their product. Great vibe all around, even though my favorite vendor wasn't there this year 🙁. Thought $15 cover charge was slightly expensive. But I noticed a lot of event crew and the toilets where clean and I'm sure it helps clean the town up after the event. All in all a must visit even if you dont love cider the atmosphere is awesome.

Great location, lots of delicious food, enjoyed the local bands, plenty of delicious ciders and a great family atmosphere.
Last year was the same weekend as the RFS open day and if it happens again it’s worth checking out the station and vintage tenders at Tumut on the way through.
