Before going ahead with your self guided tour ($22) you will need to stop by the information centre to get the entry ticket and also a national park fee for vehicle access ($4) to national park. We visited the south glory cave the steps were quite narrow and slightly steep towards the end of the walk but there’s handrails for you to hold on to. The pathway lights were quite dim, best to bring along a small torch. We went during summer time and it was still quite chilly inside the cave, recommend to bring along your jacket and hats.

Entrance was $22 for self guided tour and the entrance to the cave from car park took us perhaps 20 - 25 minutes on just normal pace and taking in the views. It has enough lighting to see the steps but if you have poor eyesight like me, maybe just bring a small torch. There's handles you can hold onto to prevent slipping. I only wore a jumper and it was but nippy for me at the start but there's steep sections towards the end that will warm you up. Upon exit, the car park is just few steps away.

South Glory cave is a self guided cave. Entry is $22 ($18 seniors) each plus your NP day pass for your car is $4 and can be paid for at the Visitor Centre. The Staff are super helpful. They gave us a map and explained all the walks and caves. Due to limited time we chose to do the self guided but will be back to see the others.
One way dirt track in and out off the Snowy Mountains Hwy. Take your hiking shoes and do the pool and walks too.

Had a great time doing a self guided tour of the South Glory Cave. Everything is well sign posted and theres plenty of hand rails and lighting throughout. It is significantly cooler in the cave compared to ambient so bring a jacket/jumper whatever the weather as youll need it.
Also had a good time at the thermal pool. Note the walk in and most especially out is rather steep and can drain the battery of the most sporty person so leave a little fuel in the tank when swimming for the walk back to the car.

South Glory Cave never fails to astonish you. In 1834, this mysterious underworld first discovered by Europeans. Everyone will be awestruck by the immense size of its limestone chambers, decorations and rock piles. Don't forget to bring warm clothes as inside of the cave is very cold. It is year round self guided tour and no wheelchair accessible. Suitable for all ages but moderate fitness is required. The path is 470m long, with 206 steps and several ramps. It takes around 45 min to complete the tour and exit near the Carpark. Love to visit....

Visited South Glory Cave Mid June-2022. Initially thought $22 for a self guided tour is quite overpriced. But after entering and exploring the cave I was convinced. The proper stairs, ramps, hand rails, sensor lights and to keep maintaining it.

This place is amazing,I thought the price was a little high but after seeing all the lights and access infrastructure in place it’s definitely worth every cent,
Great for kids to have an explore as the paths all have hand rails and guards,
We only had time for the south glory cave but will definitely be back to do the other caves in the future,
