Privilege to stay in such a historic building. We (14yo son and me) stayed in room 17 for 2 nights and unlike other reviews. we saw no paranormal stuff,.it was just a cozy place to stay. Some people have better imaginations than me and are too impressionable for their own good. @Jesse Milne perhaps leave the rum alone and leave the Ouija board for another occasion.

Terrifying stay

Our stay at number 17 was terrifying. What started as a fun weekend getaway at the racetrack turned into something straight out of a horror movie.

The hotel itself had an eerie charm, with creaky floors. Intrigued by the unsettling vibe, my friends and I decided to bring out a Ouija board for some late-night entertainment in our room. It was all laughs at first as we played, but things quickly took a turn.

As we started asking questions, the lights in the room began to flicker and the chair fell over, all while I was pouring a cup of rum

After that, the air grew cold, and an oppressive feeling settled over the room. The TV turned on by ITSELF twice.. None of us were near it. We froze, staring at each other in shock. We could all feel a deep energy surrounding us

That night, none of us could sleep and every sound made our hearts drop. It was a night of pure fear. We where thinking of leaving but we didn’t want to walk thought the place to get out

The next morning, we left before 10am checkout. We ran into a guy that was also staying there and he was telling us the creepy history of Bathurst and that this hotel has a evil history of kids from the boarding school being killed here e.g

If you’re looking for a thrill, this place will certainly give you one. I recommend staying away from Room 17. There are spirits here

Stayed for 4 days. Simple room but good for the price. Comfortable bed and very good shower. Close to town, closer to the track if you're in town for the race. Despite other reviews, I didn't see any ghosts

Formally a seminary, the one night stay was interesting, staying in this conversion to hotel. Comfortable king size bed. A bit of a struggle with heating. So my advice with anybody going …. Set the heat for 23. It will kick in about 5 minutes and you’re fine. Once it’s going you can increase the heat. They look like new LG Inverter units, set the icon to the sun graphic and you’ll be fine. I didn’t mind not having someone staffed at reception. You pick up your key from a lock box. They text you instructions. It’s easy. Modern bathrooms. Despite other reviews, the room was CLEAN! Haunted What utter nonsense! Best rates in town! If you have a concern they do take phone calls. Very gracious, professional. I do recommend this! 👍

YOU WILL BE VERY DISSAPOINTED! VERY VERY ...SMALL NO FACILITIES PICS VERY MISLEADING save your money go somewhere else, dirty NO staff on site, not suited for even poor student accommodation. save yourself the trouble. If you hate it ...stuck with it

Magnificent location- near famous Mount Panorama!
Rooms well equipped, clean and comfortable.
Old building with adorable charm, unforgettable atmosphere...
Much more pleasant- so reasonable prices!
We definitely back another time.
