My partner and I had our anniversary dinner here on the weekend.

Delicious food and cocktails and absolutely lovely service. Still thinking about that creme brûlée, lovely atmosphere with the fairy lights.
My partner is lactose free and didn’t have any issues with the menu.
Definitely would come back if I ever came back to Terrigal.

My husband and I celebrated his birthday at this restaurant and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The ambiance was perfect - cozy, intimate and romantic - just what we were looking for. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.Overall, we had a fantastic experience at this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.

Had a delightful evening here with my partner. The food was delicious and the service was really outstanding. We were served by a very friendly and helpful lad by the name of Carmine, who embodied excellence in Australian hospitality.

We had the Gruyère soufflé, scallops, beef cheek, pork belly, and apple and yuzu and chocolate desserts. We thoroughly enjoyed the lot and would happily recommend any of those.

Classic French menu served in a stunning location overlooking the ocean. The experience with the food however didn’t match up. We ordered duck, kingfish ceviche, grilled octopus and dessert. They aren’t bad but nothing phenomenal as you’d expect from the price tag of these dishes.

Separately the staff brought pen and paper when we were ordering, and insisted that we leave our personal details (email and phone number) as a restaurant policy. We refused of course. Please stop doing that to your guests

Our first visit was on Valentines evening and it won’t be our last. Everything was superb. The scallop dish was out of this world. So was the duck and passionfruit soufflé.
Portions were a great size. I don’t understand a few reviews saying they were hungry after 3 courses.
The owner was on the floor and made everyone feel welcome. He chatted at our table and made the experience very special. The wait staff were wonderful and the wine list was next level superb.
Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Do your self a favour and visit and enjoy the experience.

Food quality is just ok. Not worth the price at all. Even with extra 2 sides ordered for 4 people, we still feel hungry after the meal. Lack of service mind. Lazy execution on dietary requirements. Our table conversations keep constantly interrupted by service staff pushing for item order. Will not come back again.

L'isle de France is by far our favourite restaurant on the Central Coast. From the fabulous meals right down to the beautiful decor and ambience of traditional French music sets the perfect atmosphere for a special occasion. The staff are so attentive, personable and obliging- nothing is too much trouble.
We absolutely love Tim who works there, he is such a joy to be around and always ensures that you're well looked after. He is actually one of the main drawcards to our entire family returning time and time again for breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Do yourself a favour and try the fondant 😍

Soufflé, Octopus, Beef Cheeks, Duck and the Crème Brûlée were all perfect. The location a short walk from the main drag, over looking the Ocean could have been in the South of France. The service was slick, the choice of wines was impressive and we opted for the Cahors. A very pleasant impressive dinning experience.
