This hotel is disgusting. The room was dirty and dusty. |No mattress protector, just a sheet that didn't fit properly over the mattress, which was old, dirty and had springs sticking into us all night.| The bed head was broken and leaning against the wall. The pillows were old and smelly, and thin, with only 2 on the bed. |No doona or blanket, just a sheet on top, again which was too small for the bed. The floors were grubby and not vacuumed. Everything is covered in dust and spider webs.|The bathroom was mouldy and everything is broken or dirty. The power point was broken, the draws in the vanity didn't open, they were damaged and swollen. The floor was dirty. Nothing has been cleaned for a very long time.|The hallways are dirty, marks on every wall and door. The place smells terrible.|The "Gardens" are over grown and the grass is long and full of weeds.|The pool area is run down, and the pool water is cloudy.|I refused to eat in the restaurant, so can't tell you anything about it.|The Microwave at the front door (Foyer) is the only appliance in the place, which is next to a packet of toilet paper, since we only got 1/4 roll in our room, it was actually quite convenient, but by the front door. The place has previously been a hospital or some sort of facility, which seems to have the same furniture in it since the 70's.|I would absolutely avoid this place. It should be reported, however, after reading what deems it unsafe, it seems it passes somehow, with the bare minimum being done.

We stayed at Seaside Garden Retreat in mid-December as a family of four for a wedding, paying $300 per night. From the start, we were concerned about the property’s condition. The room smelled of mould and stale cigarettes, and the door had been left open to air it out. The decor was outdated, the beds uncomfortable, and there was visible damage throughout the room. The bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned, and mould was evident.||That night, we returned at 10:30 pm to find the door wouldn’t open. We called three numbers listed at reception with no answer, and the back door didn’t lock properly. We attempted to access the property through the back but were startled by a snake near the door. After 45 minutes, the lock finally opened.||The next morning, I confronted Raymond, the manager, about the room’s condition and requested a refund. He became aggressive and dismissive, claiming the lock was fine and not his responsibility. We left frustrated, and are now attempting to follow up with Booking.com for a refund, but the property is not responding to calls or emails.||This place is neglected, poorly maintained, and has terrible customer service. We left feeling disgusted and will be filing complaints with councils and SafeWork NSW. Avoid this place at all costs.

I was travelling with my dog and chose this place for the fenced yard attached to the room, fantastic idea. The pool was well maintained and clean. This property would have been awesome in its heyday but has fallen into disrepair. There were overgrown veggie gardens, a lovely coy pond that needed more water and maybe a clean, the fish looked like there wasted much air in water that was there. They advertise breakfast available and a coffee machine in the rooms, neither of which they had, and only enough tea and coffee for one person for one day, I had a 3 day stay. The aircon in my room dripped water in the room right above one of the few electrical outlets. Only shower gel and shampoo for the bathroom, no conditioner, shower cap or the basics you get in a cheap hotel.

Where to start? Run down, dirty, decrepit. I apologised to my wife for booking it. A 1980’s motel that nobody had updated since then. |Everything is minimal or doesn’t work. Old carpet, marked paint, damaged doors, no wine glasses, no ironing board cover, no phone, the iron didn’t work, aircon unit old and blades melted and drooping, shower sealant messy, old taps, toilet water supply turned off. |The bed was just ok. The shower was good pressure. |In summary it should be demolished and a new hotel built.

Only gave 1 star as there is no option for a minus.. |most terrible experience I have ever had for a hotel. |I called for to book the advertised room at $189 for a night only to be told the hotel was booked out and that the only other option with dog friends was to go with the pacific hotel at $317 a night + $35 extra for the dogs. I booked, only to find on arrival that it’s the same hotel and that I was in the exact same room|I found advertised for $189 a night. Manager on duty would not do anything to help me. ||PowerPoint in bathroom was smashed and not safe. The room only had a single light with a single switch near the door, requiring me to walk back to the bed in the dark. |I woke all itchy after being bitten by bed bugs all night. |The shower had grout missing from it and the room in general stank. |There were patches in the wall where a door had been removed between the 2 rooms and the pasta was peeling. |Curtains were paper thin and as the room faced the road, the light kept me awake, along with the constant banging of doors and sound of people walking on the floors upstairs. |I was advised I would get an outside courtyard with my room that was fenced off for my dogs however they had given that room to someone else. |The beds were uncomfortable with springs sticking in my back. |Most awful experience… the motel needs to be demolished and replaced.

The owners are very kind and gave us an extra bed for free and was able to negotiate on price to help us out. The rooms are very reasonable for the price.

Do Not Stay at this accomodation!|Absolutely dirty, terrible smells in room. No hot water, No mattress protector on the bed, mould and dust on windows. Broken tiles on every tiled area outside. Complex needs to be demolished. |THE WORST PLACE 😫 I have ever experienced.
