Great location. The little room had been tastefully renovated but kept the sweet art deco features. The room was clean and the receptionist very friendly and helpful about where to go to have our dinner. The outdoor seating and bbq area looked very attractive so will try it out next visit.

Stayed in a family studio. It was clean, comfortable and spacious for our family of 4 (2 small children). Only stayed one night so didn’t use the kitchenette, but it all looked in good order. Outdoor bbq verandah also a vibe. Located on the quiet end of the Main Street.

I stayed in the Altair motel for one night. The staff member who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. The room was modern, clean and really good value for money. It's a short walk down the road to pubs, restaurants or the coles supermarket. In general, this is so much better value for money than anything in Jindabyne.

The only thing to watch out for is the hotel location. It's just over the crest of a hill. If you're turning right to go north towards Canberra then be careful of oncoming traffic.

This is the very first hotel I have ever stayed in in NSW where it was so very clean, full of care, pride and had all necessities. The hosts are so sweet are caring. Absolutely loved my stay here!!! Very highly recommended

Room is small but has all you need for a one nighter on the way to the snow. Clean, good heating and a short walk to the pub for a great meal.

Recently stayed for 3 nights with a large group. The rooms were clean and comfortable, fresh towels supplied everyday which was welcome. Centrally located to cafes, pub and supermarket.

Parking right outside the room, which is great for us motorcyclist's as we like our bikes close by.

Fantastic covered BBQ area, which was excellent for our get togethers.
