Amazing location, wonderful units with some lovely facilities for the kids and above all an awesome staff at this establishment that make the entire process of booking to stay and check out seamless, easy and enjoyable!!
My booking was done over the phone as the website was showing the place booked out for our travel dates. Anna helped me through the phone booking and couple of email exchanges and everything was sorted, simple and easy.
We arrived at the property 2 hrs ahead of our check in and were hoping to drop our bags and return later. However the staff were kind enough, the room was ready when we arrived and allowed us to check in early.
During our stay we wanted a new kitchen pan as the one that was provided was not in great condition. Again, the staff when we rang them said they were at the shops and would get us a new kitchen pan and that was ready for us when we returned from our day outing.
The unit by itself is well kept and was truly home away from home for our family ( 2 adults and 2 kids ). The location is wonderful and you can walk around or a short drive takes you into the town centre. Definitely worth the stay!!!

We just had the most wonderful stay at The Anchorage Bermagui!

The apartment was spotless upon arrival, with what looks to be a brand new fully equipped kitchen, and bathroom. It is a spacious, modern apartment, and the crisp linen & and comfy beds made for perfect nights sleep.

We spent our days exploring the area, watching whales and their calves putting on a show just off the headland, browsing the shops in town (just a short walk), checking out the blue pools, and the Salt Marsh just down the lane. We’d start our days with coffee at the Espresso & Gin Bar, and delicious baked treats (+ some of the best sourdough we’ve ever eaten) at Honor Bread, ate at Boneless Vegetarian Cafe and had delicious pizza & pasta at Ill Passagio (at the Wharf)
Mimosa Rocks National Park is so close too, and absolutely beautiful!

Cannot recommend this place highly enough - we’ll definitely be back!

Looking for somewhere special to stay, with a relaxing atmosphere and lots of room, you've got it here.
The host are super friendly, and the apartments, very neat, clean and roomy, with everything you need.
Boat ramp is 50m away, great to go out fishing, stand up paddle boarding, kayak or canoe.
Make sure you include a walk down to the marina, a great place to see the sunrise and admire some amazing boats.

Liked · Being an updated self contained unit with a full kitchen it was great, comfortable clean modern and easy check in, communication was good, big fluffy towels, great shower, pool and bbq area looked welcoming.

Disliked · The super loud footsteps of people walking up and down the stairs all morning starting at 6am to the upstairs unit it was really badly designed and it not only woke us up but kept us awake it was super loud and it was not relaxing at all.
The unit was clean but unfortunately we had a white tailed spider in one bedroom and a wolf spider in the second bedroom spotted crawling around our bed.
We were not able to log into our netflix account on the tv, it did not open it just cycled possibly as the wifi seemed very slow.

“This is our second stay here and would definitely return. Location is perfect and one of our rooms had a lovely view of the river, whole unit was absolutely spotless, plenty of room, well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. Owners are lovely too.

This was our second time staying here in two months and couldn't recommend it more highly. Beautiful settings, lovely apartment and the most helpful and friendly staff you could want. The bathroom also has the best shower we've ever experienced, I wish we could take it home.
I love doing craft work and to read, so would have preferred better lighting, or at least an overhead lamp, but that is only a tiny criticism. Most accommodation venues seem to be the same.

We'll DEFINITELY be back.

Stayed here while travelling to photograph a wedding near by. Brought the family along and made a mini holiday out of it. We looooved our stay at the Anchorage, check in and out was made so easy, the facilities and our unit were just beautiful. Loved the location, it was quiet and such a comfortable space to come back to after our days exploring all the beautiful near by beaches. Can’t wait to head back next year and stay longer. Thank you for making us feel so welcome 💕

Great apartment, very friendly staff (owner?). One EV charger wasn't working, he tried to help (late at night), so we decided to go with the other charger on the other side of the building. The apartment is great. Room is on the smaller side, but very comfortable. The living room + kitchen is huge, fully equipped with most (if not everything) that we need. Bathroom is great too (except shower might be a little small but good enough for me).

Very nice view from the apartment too. Great location, closed to shops, restaurants, petrol stations etc.

Overall, very satisfied with the apartment, will definitely come back again. Now I understand why it is always booked out.
