Seems like the kitchen is back to frozen food for the entrees and mains. I ordered the bay bugs. I think it’s supposed to be a split fresh one, but I had two of right sides. The sauce was sweetened tomato sauce (no herbs) and the parm was the shelf-stable Kraft green can. The desert was tasty with the petal sprinkle touch. For breakfast, the omelette was watery and not properly cooked or seasoned. I found out about the Kitchen Nightmare after eating and staying here. It was the owner himself that was the breakfast cook.

I'm not one to write a negative toned review but I was super disappointed about the meal for the price. We were excited to have a nice meal out while down with friends at the Bay. While the service was initially friendly and welcoming it quickly dropped off. With 3 visible wait staff and only 2 other tables with a couple of people on each in the whole place, I was surprised by the lack of service given to our table of 9. After we got our meals we struggled to get any attention at all. This restaurant has a very limited menu and with that I expected the quality to be fantastic. I was quite disappointed and would consider it a rather mediocre meal. The next night I made a beautiful fresh salmon pasta at home that rivalled anything that we got that night. It might explain why the place was near empty during peak holiday time on a Saturday night.

Salt and pepper calamari was excellent, lobster needed a little work, prawns and home made thousand Island dressing was very good. Breakfast was also pretty good. Definitely go there next time in the area.

Came to dine as part of our holiday because of seeing the restaurant on Kitchen Nightmares Australia ,
First of all the staff were all attentive and helpful. Pre-dinner drinks were outstanding, splice cocktails . Appetizer of garlic pi was very tasty . Mains , whole fish and Stuffed Chicken Pesto were presented nicely and tasted great .
The restaurant was a pleasant experience.

Nice location. Generaly good meals. The oyster kilpatrick was quite bland. Very nice cocktails. Risotto was very nice and the srrvice was tremendous. We were seatrd quickly and the food came out in order and in a timely manner

Bruchetta $15 was divine! Watermelon cocktail hug $20 was yummy and refreshing. Seafood platter for two $150 was OK. Definitely enough food for two, but it was OK. Teenagers sitting in the corner pretending to dry heave, playing loud videos on their phones, and squealing and swearing unfortunately was a bit of a dampener. The decor was beautiful. Service was excellent.

Friendly and attentive staff,
clean area but some plates are oily that we have to ask for replacement

Food was okay, spare ribs was so soft but not marinated as what we expecting - sauce is the flavour.

Guess were epecting more for the price, however we have a good experience..

I had the oysters that were amazing I wanted to order more but they had closed the kitchen. It would of been nice to be told it was only open for so long so we could have had a chance to order more things like dessert.
