I regret to say that my recent stay at your hotel was one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had. I paid a premium rate of $500 for a single night at what was advertised as a 4-star hotel, with the expectation of cleanliness and excellent service. Unfortunately, the room I was given was far from acceptable. It was unclean, with hair on the floor, fingerprints on the mirror, and floors that clearly hadn’t been vacuumed.

After calling the service desk, I spoke with a courteous staff member who offered to move us to another room. However, upon arriving at the second room, the conditions were even worse. There was a toenail on the floor, holes in the sheets, and more hair in the bath.

We returned to the front desk to express our concerns, where we encountered a different staff member. She consulted with her manager, who, regrettably, did little to resolve the situation. The only offer made was to send someone to clean the room, which was not a feasible solution given that we had a concert to attend. When I requested to be moved to another room so we could freshen up and get ready, I was told it would inconvenience other guests who had yet to check in. This response was particularly frustrating, as we had already spent 45 minutes in the hotel and were thoroughly disappointed with the state of the rooms.

To make matters worse, we were forced to prepare for the evening while a male cleaner worked in the same room. Throughout the process, I overheard two staff members whispering and laughing, which added to the discomfort and made us feel disrespected.

As a result, we missed the opening act of the concert and left the hotel feeling thoroughly dissatisfied with the overall experience.

I hope you take this feedback seriously, as it reflects a significant gap between the quality of service promised and the reality we encountered.

Note to self if you’re looking for tasty bar food with a good glass of wine / cup of coffee maybe try else where.
While the ambiance and service was fine,
the bar food and beverage offering, lack luster. Ended up with a nasty glass of wine and over cheesed pizza and hot brown liquid referred to as coffee >$50. Simple food done so ho hum at fine dining prices…

We have stayed at the Novotel Sydney Olympic Park many times before when there has been a sporting event or concert on as the location is perfect and only a short walking distance to both the stadium and Arena. The hotel staff have always been very helpful and friendly. The rooms nice and modern with air conditioning that b brings much needed relief from those hot summer days. The onsite parking has been updated to a car registration number automated service which was easy and simple to use. If I was to suggest any improvements at all it would only be to make sure that both elevators are in working order for weekends where there are big events on and large crowds are expected to alleviate the wait times to get up and down from the rooms especially since the stairs were only for emergency use. I will commend the staff who did do everything they could to help with this issue by taking some of the people waiting on the staff elevator.

Rooms were nice, staff were lovely and helpful. Room service food was very average. Expensive mid week stay for the facilities but still a nice stay after a concert. There is a bar and restaurant downstairs that we may try next time

We had to attend a concert before the check in time and arrived around 1230pm and granted early check in which we really appreciated. The room was clean and fresh and very welcoming with music playing. Highly recommend!

Rooms were clean and nice, besides having no body wash.
Location was great for the event.
We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was quite disappointing. My partner paid $50 for a steak- If you’re going to charge that price for a steak that only comes with chips and salad, please don’t overcook the steak. Medium rare it was not and for that price it should be perfectly cooked. My meal was fine, but nothing special and definitely not worth the price tag. I’d recommend going somewhere else for dinner.
The breakfast was great though, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Katie at the bar for making a fantastic strawberry mocktail — she was so sweet and welcoming. The room was spacious with beautiful views, and the early morning checkout was quick and easy. Our first visit to Sydney was perfect, and the hotel made everything so much better, especially for our fireworks trip.
