We had a lovely one bedroom apartment. We liked having the 2 areas. One bedroom with a bathroom and a lounge and kitchen area. Was also nice to be able to sit out on the balcony. We didn't have the best view from our room but that can't be helped. Just a shame it was such a long walk back to reception.

My room was very clean, new and the beds and linen very comfortable for the price I paid peak season was exceptional value for money. I booked a superior one bedroom Seaview apartment. I can’t fault the cleanliness. |If you are looking to check in early at peak season this won’t happen, it’s busy, large and services the Sebel also. |This place has two towers, so the mantra building itself you won’t get street access from your apartment, you have to walk a fair way to access the main doors. Once you check in and know where your car is you can transition straight to that car park from the lifts but there is a bit of walk if your walking our the door. The pool can be used by both towers and neighbouring properties. We haven’t wanted to swim there due to how busy it is in peak time and with beaches only a street away it’s nicer there but that can be expected. |The adjoining properties get their bins collected every night at 4.30am this noise lasts for 10 minutes and will wake you up, I did speak to the reception on this but it’s a highly noted issue that they cannot sort out with the NSW side so that’s just something that really should be noted. It’s extremely loud and we are on floor 10 you will wake up. Other than that rooms are quiet and peaceful. |Aside from that the staff are pleasant and helpful and if you book the same room very clean. We were on 1043.

Stayed for 5 nights in a one bedroom apartment. Had a terrible outlook straight at the back of a building. Room is dated, indoor pool had no water. Only one umbrella around pool area- so very little shade. No kettle in room and took over a hour to bring one to our room. Staff were the only good thing about our stay. They were always friendly and helpful.

Loved our Harbour tower Harbour views apartment. Only 2 slight issues. No towels available when I needed to use the pool. They were waiting on a delivery. The pool loungers could use an update and a bit more shade of some sort at the pool would be great. Overall though a fantastic experience and great time relaxing and enjoying the beach and eating places a short walk away

We've stayed here quite a few times and Michael Gibson (hotel Manager) has always upgraded us (Accor member) to better apartments or penthouse, thank you. The room compliments, welcome drinks are always appreciated. Hotel is conveniently located close to all amenities and beach||Always our first choice holiday destination.

Really enjoyed our 3 days in mantra twin towns. Staff are very friendly and the room was nice and clean.
The room was a bit dated and could do with a renovation maybe but it's still a nice place for a fair price and walking distance to the beach.

Great place to stay. Comfy beds. Good service. We got upgraded. The only downfall was the pool wasn’t able to be used one night due to ‘water maintenance’ and one of the showers didn’t provide much pressure but we just showered in the other bathroom.

We have stayed at many Mantra hotels. Prior to booking our 2 night stay, at Tweed Heads, I rang and spoke to Duty Manager, Gordon. He was very helpful when I explained that I have back issues and require a supportive, non saggy mattress. I also followed up with emails regarding this request. I was reassured that they would do their best to help and if I had any issues with the bed to contact reception and they would do whatever they could to help even if that meant changing rooms or mattresses.|Upon checking in I mentioned this again to Anesu on reception (Gordon was not on duty) who confirmed that there was a note on my booking regarding the bed. He reassured me that if the mattress was not comfortable I was to let them know and they would help to rectify the problem.|As soon as we got to our room (a nice one bedroom apartment) I tried the bed immediately. Unfortunately, the mattress was old and very unsupportive and saggy. I rang reception and spoke to Anesu. I explained that I had an email trail requiring a comfortable mattress and that the one in the room was unsuitable and could he help? He went and checked with the Duty Manager. When Anesu returned to the phone he informed me that the Duty Manager said "this is what you will get when you stay at the Mantra, if you want a better mattress you need to pay more money and stay at The Sebel". "You can have a different topper on the bed if you want". How the heck does a different topper help the saggy mattress underneath it? I was shocked to say the least. So, obviously paying $350 per night does NOT entitle you to a comfortable bed!! If the room was much, much cheaper and 3 star I guess I could understand his attitude (maybe) but at $350 per night in a 4 star hotel surely you are entitled to a decent bed. I'm really disappointed in the elitist attitude of the staff. Warning: if you want a bed that doesn't cause back pain be prepared to pay over $500 a night at The Sebel as $350 seems to be for "the cheap seats" only. I'm bitterly disappointed in the Mantra over this. My husband ended up rotating the mattress himself to see if it made any difference. Unfortunately it did not. I tried to do the right thing, I rang and checked about the beds even before making the booking. As we'll be doing extensive travelling from next year, I had hoped to establish with one brand, Mantra, so I would know I was getting good service. How disappointing after our Tweed Heads stay and the arrogant attitude of Management.
