One of the Best spot because its nearby airport and beautiful Kirra beach. Kitchen is quite messy, we didn’t use it so okay for us. Bus stop in short distance to go city. If you prefer to dine out i sure recommend YHA🙂

It was good, it was one of the better hostels I’ve stayed in. Very well organised, staff were good and helpful. Really easy to navigate and quite clean. Location was super easy to get to airport. 5 minute walk to the airport, maybe less. Parking out the front was easy. Can’t fault the place. Do recommend.

Great place, little bit noisy( it’s near an airport) but I am old …
Facility’s were nice clean and easy to use.
Staff were excellent and helpful!
Bed was comfortable and clean.
Amenities were also clean and tidy.

Very loud fan in the room, no individual light or socket nearby the bed, only socket and usb in the locker. No curtains.
No clean and fresh tea towels in the kitchen.
The staff was nice. They tried to keep the facilities clean. Specious room.
The hostel is gar from everything.

Our room was so hot. A small wall fan for 4 people. Worst night sleep. My daughter tried sleeping on the floor to see if it was cooler than sleeping on the mattress. It was really noisey until midnight but we expected that from a backpackers but the heat of the room was difficult to bare

far from everything, 1 cafe across the road

accomodation is clean
bathrooms clean (i used shared)
comfy spots to hangout in
Laid back vibe
customer service is friendly

i was frustrated from the wait, i arrived about 9am and went to find somewhere to eat. got back, there was miscommunication between staff, we werent told room was ready, and i took my frustrations out on the girl who took over at counter, I DID APOLOGISE because she didnt deserve that.

Other than that, nice spot but i will stay closer to town.

We paid $140 and was SHOCKINGLY BAD YHA.
• NO AIR CONDITIONER!! It’s SUMMER IN QLD!!!
• Only ONE POWER OUTLET, tucked in a CORNER.
• BROKEN DOOR, need to SLAM it shut.
• DAMAGED WINDOW, patched with FLYERS.
• CURTAINS DON’T COVER, ZERO PRIVACY—people CAN SEE IN.
• NO BODY WASH in the showers.

Feels more like a PRISON than a YHA. WAY BELOW STANDARD!
