Adventure Out Loud are a dream. The Ultimate African Safari and Gorilla Trek, with a group of 13 women, planned without a hitch. Incredible accomodation, safari's galore, adventure and nature. Add on my own personal pilgrimage to Victoria Falls, was quite literally the Ultimate trip! Nate and the team nailed every detail. Africa was my bucket list country and I can't wait to go again with AOL!

Hi, we have thought about going to Africa for decades, whenever we travel we do loads of research before we plan and go, we interviewed about 5 or 6 tour providers, we whittled that down to 2 candidates. We went with Nate and Adventure Out Load (AOL) for 2 main reasons:

We had many planning meetings with Nate over WhatsApp and he patiently and systematically answered all our questions. He always answered our texts and our calls no matter how troublesome we were. The planning was very collaborative with Nate helping direct us WRT dates and events that would ultimately make our trip one of the most memorable of our life.

During the trip there were several hiccups (they were rare most things went easily and smoothly, but there were issues with Airlines that were out of AOLs control), whenever we had a problem Nate and his team where on the phone with us to help guide us thru the issue, that support was invaluable and comforting in times of stress.

Lastly, sadly the migration had shifted right before we arrived and headed from Kenya back to Tanzania, Nate and his team knew this was the main event we wanted to witness, they proactively reacted to this event and tried their best to reschedule our flights to get us to the migration herds.

Just got home from an EPIC trip with Adventure Out Loud. Started the trip in Kilimanjaro where we met Bobby and John. They helped us pack for our Kilimanjaro climb and were nice enough to even show us around time in their spare time. Absolute legends.

We embarked on the kili climb the next day where we met our happy go luck guides Peter and Jerry, as well as some of our special porters. The whole staff were always laughing and in good spirits, even with some of the terrible weather we faced. Even through the literal snow storm, Peter was singing and dancing. The staff did a good job but they went above and beyond to make us feel cared for, safe and made sure we were making the most of our experience. Can’t recommend them enough!

After kili, we did a safari in tarangire and ngorongoro, as well as visiting a small village school and the prestigious st Jude. Every step of the way, everything was organised from pick ups to meals to anything we needed. Was very easy trip for us, we did little more than even lift our fingers. And we got beautiful Tanzanian hospitality everywhere we went!! It was cool to see some of the kids that AOL helps to sponsor and send through school. Half the profit goes to these kids who are sooooo enthusiastic about education. It was so humbling to see them in their classroom, every kid engaged and ready to learn!

Nate, the founder of AOL is super organised, friendly and always a message away whenever we had questions. He organised absolutely everything, with very little input needed from us. He puts in a lot of effort to make sure we’re comfortable, everything is running smoothly and anticipates and fixes things even before we realise it’s an inconvenience. I have travelled with AOL in the past and I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a stress free trip.

Oh and how can I forget the chimp trek in Gombe!! Absolutely trip of a lifetime. Felt safe and cared for the whole way through. Lots of advice with what to pack and how to tip. And the team at adventure out loud and their partner Kili Twende absolutely made the trip. 10/10 for sure!!
