We had been to these cottages a few times...same time each year. Absolutely superb. Stunning grounds. Cottages meticulously maintained. Inclusions were amazing. Goodies in the fridge. Bread. Juices. Even a few low alcohol beers..The list could go on. Recently, it changed hands. Whilst we anticipated that the place would not be the same, we were disappointed and disgusted with what greeted us. Prior to visit, we enquired about inclusions. It appeared as though tea, coffee and milk might be a trick. 1200 for 3 nights...4th night free. We only needed 3 nights. Deposit duly forwarded. Upon our arrival, text asking for the remainder. Upon arrival, we had to ring to get the code for key entry. This took several phone calls. No-one on site. Once in, no electricity. A day of high 30's, no air con. No fridge for supplies that we took with us. Power points broken. Fireplace falling apart. Unable to open bedroom windows-fire safety. The actual grounds were a disgrace. Empty water bottle on chair on deck. Carpet filthy. TV antenna broken. Could not locate any garbage bins outside. We left first thing the next morning...fortunately found room at Rydges. Equally disappointing, another cottage on site was let out to people who paid less than half what we paid. Apparently, new owner had motel in town. It was overbooked and this couple was sent to Lochinvar. I did ask for a refund of my 300 as it was far from value...as it was in the past. Did not receive reply. Very disappointing for Bathurst as well...as this was a highly regarded place.

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend on Mount Panorama in Bathurst at the beautiful Lochinvar Luxury Cottages. Incredible location. Entry off the iconic Conrod Straight on Mount Panorama, into a beautiful and luxurious cottage. It was clean, spacious, and quiet, with a beautiful view across the Bathurst valley. The kitchen was incredible. Enjoyed a morning cuppa while watching the valley below come to life. Loved staying here!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lochinvar Camelia Cottage. This would have to be one of the best places we have stayed. The setting is absolutely perfect and made leaving the cottage for a day trip very hard to do. The views overlook the valley and distant township of Bathurst. The property is set right on Conrod Straight, which was perfectly positioned for us as we attended the Autofest event. ||Our hosts were sensational, very friendly and welcomed us warmly with an informative guide to our cottage upon arrival. ||The breakfast provisions and all the extras were second to none and most generous and of high quality.||We stayed 5 nights and found it hard to leave. We will certainly return and plan to extend our stay next time. Thank you so much for our most enjoyable and relaxing stay at Lochinvar.

Of all the places I have written about, this one is my sentimental favourite. I have been coming here for more than fourteen years and during that time the standard has never deviated. The owners, Maria and Graham Ireland, treat their work as a labour of love rather than as a business. Your accommodation is one of a number of luxury self-contained cottages on the property, which is off the Mount Panorama racing circuit. Your view spans across the city of Bathurst and the mountains beyond. Although only a few kilometers from the city proper, the ambience of the cottages make it a private and relaxing area. A stocked larder is included in your tariff comprising bacon, eggs, bread, fruit, coffee, tea, crackers and a cheese plate. Once you arrive you don't have to go out to buy food. There is enough to satisfy the fussiest of eaters. On the lounge room table you will find a bottle of port and some Ferraro Rocher chocolates and the day's paper. The beds are comfortable, rooms luxurious and everywhere you turn there are small 'niceties' to help make your stay a memorable experience. Each time I stay here I feel like I am returning home. Next time you have a reason to be in the area of Bathurst, set aside a night to spend at Lochinvar. I guarantee you will return.

We went with a group, 6 of us. Lochinvar Luxury Cottages were just fantastic. So homely and comfortable. ||The breakfast provisions were second to none and the added extras, fresh fruit, cheese and dip platter, home made slices etc were just wonderful.||Maria is an awesome hostess and we had a great time exploring Bathurst and the surrounds and also relaxing with a bbq, glass of wine and snacks. One of the most beautiful properties I have been to for a wedding . There are 4 cottages to rent all of which as gorgeous . The grounds are lovely , green grass all around . Pond with water Lily's which when in flower would be beautiful. |Owners are onsite if you need them , nothing was too much trouble . Set right on Conrad straight but you would never have known unless of course there is a race on. |I would recommend this as a beautiful location to be married . |The wedding then progressed onto the Rydges .

We have stayed at Lochinvar on a number of occasions over the last 15 years or so.||The standard of the accommodation and the attention to detail has never faltered. We have just spent a very relaxing weekend again courtesy of our daughter who gave us a gift voucher for Christmas. The hosts Maria & Graham are very welcoming and friendly.||Breakfast provisions are a part of the package and this is very generous indeed, Maria even leaves a carrot cake to enjoy a bottle of wine and chocolates.

This would have to be the best accomodation option in the wider Bathurst location.||We stayed in two of the three cottages over a weekend in early April and all we could say was WOW.||To describe these as cottages understates the size of what are in reality medium sized houses. The two we stayed in were similar in size and layout with two double bedrooms with ensuites, a large dining room/TV room, generous kitchen, laundry, lockup garage and third toilet. The owners are happy to change the sleeping arrangements from double to single beds and add extra beds as required. The outdoor BBQ area is generous enough in size and has a targe table and umbrella to kick back and take in the manaquered gardens and views out over the Bathurst hinterland.||The fridge and larder were bulging with enough food to feed an army-plates of homemade slices, cheeses, crackers, smoked salmon, bacon, farm fresh eggs, sausages, milk, beer....all included in the tarrif.||||Nice and quiet at night so you can enjoy a relaxed nights sleep.||||Will certainly stay here again when we visit next year.
