Another houseboat holiday completed.
An amazing experience & quality time shared with family. We were on board celebrating a milestone 21st birthday with 3 generations.

We hired a 12 person bbq boat for the day and had a blast. More than enough room for everyone, great facilities and the staff at Berger Houseboats were fabulous to deal with from the initial booking and questions to the end of the day. We cruised up and down the river, making a few stops, fished, swam and had a very enjoyable day. Highly recommend, we will definitely do this again.

The experience with the Berger team from start to finish was fantastic. We were a last minute booking made the day before. Sue-Ellen took our booking for the BBQ Boat, she was so kind, helpful and accommodating for our group (which had three little children). On the day the boat was clean and organised. The male staff member on shift at the time despite being busy with multiple bookings took the time to run through everything with us and made sure we were ready for the day. The BBQ Boat is a must do and such a cost effective day out for a large group. We got in some great finishing and found some nice spots to swim. We will definitely be booking another BBQ Boat with Berger when we come back to tweed again.

We just spent a night with friends on their hired houseboat... It was way better than the hotel we'd stayed at the previous night. We'll definitely be keeping this at the top of our list for next time we're planning a holiday.

From the moment we booked to the end of the trip Berger Houseboats were amazing to deal with. Cliche word I know, but truly the service was exceptional! Nothing was a bother, remembered who we were when I called up and what our trip was about and to me that is taking care to know your customer and wanting to give them a good experience. The Blue Bayou was better than we expected and everything you needed functionality wise was provided. We were on the boat straight away and made feel very comfortable (and thanks to the team who unpacked our grocery delivery - how great is it to send food to the boat!!). Very clear and helpful instructions and honest service. The river.... what can you say... sitting on the river having a drink or time with family, or even a fish... the Tweed is a beautiful place with scenery to set the scene for relaxing. With the little towns along the river you were never far from great coffee and bakery treats or a pub meal! The boat was so comfortable and easy to drive (aka captain son took that responsibility) and made the travelling up and down such an easy thing to do. They are worth the money you pay for them! And this company for our first time they were so fantastic to deal with we will be back and become regular as all in the family have agreed this is a holiday we all enjoy and have started planning the next one.

A well deserved 5 stars. Pre-booking customer service was exemplary, helped solve a logistical problem for our first night and day on the houseboat. Amy was extremely helpful and patient. Information provided was excellent, boat was as expected, everything worked as it should, and we had a wonderful time. The Tweed River was ideal for our first houseboat holiday, highly recommended. All the staff were friendly, proficient and helpful, took any concerns we had away. Would definitely use Berger Houseboats again.

An amazing trip as always! Stayed with the Berger Houseboats serval times now, the staff is very helpful and friendly. It’s our go to when wanting to celebrate an occasion with the family! Cannot recommend staying with the Berger Houseboat's enough. 🌺🐠🛥️

Amazing selection of boats, very easy to book & all the staff were so lovely & very helpful. There was plenty of food & fun in the sun & we absolutely loved it. Couldn’t recommend anyone else, we will definitely be re booking again.
