Decided to stop in for lunch and see what it's all about, you get a bowl, grab some tongs and pick what ingredients you want inside, you then take it to the counter to be weighed and pick your broth. Both me and my wife had a huge bowl for lunch and it cost $40 which is crazy cheap for the size of the bowls we got. And it tasted amazing, I would 100% recommend trying it out

Great value for money (not sure what others are talking about) - we come here almost every week. Ingredients are fresh and the dishes are very tasty. Staff are amazing and very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Such friendly staff, and nice atmosphere - felt really comfortable to sit down and have a warm meal. Good selection of toppings you can choose from, clean products, clean store; and the soup? delicious! Add your own seasoning and its even more fun! As their name suggests, they’re BIG bowls — take-away containers are available, which is a bonus! Definitely worth 💯

Overpriced, soup taste so bland, can’t even taste the Mala flavour.
ingredients doesn’t look fresh at all, barely condiments available on the table, chilli oil with literally just oil in it, watery sesame sauce. The only good thing from this place is they got a friendly staffs.

First of all, this place is over priced. I went to the one in Sydney and it is not as overpriced as this one. But yeah we were willing to pay and try.
1. The ingredients was almost empty and not fresh at all. But we paid for a high quality food so we aim higher.
2. The condiments section was empty!!!!! Kindly asked the lady, and she said that she was willing to top up some garlic for us. Because their was nothing in there! Like nothing! We waited for her to prepare and then the guy told us that the garlic was sold out! We were waiting! They dont want to top it up because they are closed tomorrow. Great! No hospitality at all with this kind of price!
3. My friend asked for chili! And their was only the oil left without any chili! And again she refused to top it up! Until I said to her, how can i enjoy my malatang if the condiments its not there?

Why is it so hard for these people to give hospitality to your customers. We were asking for a lil bit of garlic and chili. Not even a ton. If you can give them, you can make your customers happy and maybe you will get a repeated customers.
But with the experience we had, with the price that doesn’t match at all! We will never going to come back again!!!

Someone thought it was a good idea to poorly wrap the takeaway containers, by the time it gets to the car it was already spilled. Soiled the car and my spoiled the mood to eat.

The food broth is not good in comparison to other malatangs, it lacks flavour depth.
The opening times posted infront of their store, google and stocklands listing do not match up. They always close 1-2 hours before the posted listing.

I really like Malatang! The selection of tomato soup ruins the color balance of the photo. But it tastes nice ♥️. Julie the boss is very friendly.
