We recently stayed at Shelly Beach Accommodation Park with over 40 family members, booking 10 cabins for 5 days. Admittedly, we had read the reviews beforehand, and while they weren’t overly raving, we decided to book on good faith — and we’re so glad we did!

From the start, everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the coastal cabins were incredibly convenient for our group. The location, so close to the beach, was absolutely phenomenal and made our stay even more enjoyable.

A special mention goes to the night security guard, who was an absolute pleasure and made us feel safe and welcome every evening.

Not a single family member had a complaint — everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We couldn’t fault a thing and would highly recommend Shelly Beach Accommodation Park for large family gatherings or anyone looking for a relaxing coastal getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Great Little holiday park. Clean amenities. Good size camp sites and the cabins look really nice. Great pool and water park for the little ones. Stones throw from the beach. Beautiful gardens. I definitely enjoyed my stay.

I was initially hesitant to book at Shelly Beach Holiday Park after reading some negative reviews, but we decided to give it a chance for our end of year family holiday. We booked 10 cabins, and to be honest, it turned out to be a great experience!

The customer service was excellent, and even though we were a big group making some noise, it was never an issue, which was a relief compared to other places. The cabins were decent, nothing fancy. The upstairs beds and room was small, and bathrooms were quite narrow, but everything else made up for it.

The location was perfect, the park was clean, and the bins were emptied daily. The splash park and pool were a hit with everyone, and the overall vibe was fantastic. Having access to the beach was amazing and so convienent, Security was also great, and the price was reasonable.

Overall, I’d stay here again!

One of the best caravan parks to stop and rest while crossing the border. The facilities are well-maintained, especially the toilets and showering area. The environment is peaceful, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing break during your journey.

Great place for a large group of families for a weekend away! Kids can have fun at the pool and slides or riding their bikes around. We have been twice now and will definitely book again! Super friendly staff and well maintained facilities. Cabin has everything you need.

- Booking and Check In
Absolutely pleasant experiance room was "ready" to check in on time and on the occasion that I called to make enquiries and such in the lead up to our stay, staff were very helpful and informative

- Cabin
Upon check in the room was filthy. Walls had multiple marks, scrapes and filthy. Stove top was greasy and floors were horrible. Air Conditioner was full of mould. Quilts on bed had no quilt covers and room fans were full of dust, peeling paint and rust. Stairs leading to upstairs loft bedroom were sharp and could only be described as a death trap all inclusive with rusty exposed nails on the side. Bunk beds in loft room were broken and slats on the bed were bolted to a large peice of board that was bigger than the bed leading to sharp slats coming out past the bed frame which my son scraped his legs on multiple occasions getting in and out of the bed.
All other cabins had an outdoor seating table except for ours. Bathroom is extremely narrow however was relatively clean. External room light on balcony did not work and light at bottom of stairs was held together by tape and had sharp exposed metal. Included WiFi - not existent.

- Waterpark and pool
Absolutely phenomenal. No complaints at all. This was the highlight of our stay and aside from the staff the only reason for my two star rating.

- Car park and Park security
Very limited lighting throught the park especially in the car park where our cabins were leading to my son tripping over when coming and going due to uneven ground and nil lighting. Rear pedestrian gate rarely locked which was a safety concern that was raised during our stay however not rectified. Signage around driving through the caravan park was near non existent leading to multiple cars going in the wrong direction when coming and going.

Overall our stay was definitely not worth $399 per night and we will not be returning again.

Front room service virtually non existent. Slowest food I have ever experienced at cafe. Noisiest place I have ever stayed in at cabins. Not cheap for below average accomodation. Shelley beach is great but this place is rated poor in my view

6 of us stayed there in 2 new cabins for 2 weeks working in the aria cabins were great restaurants awsome all walking distance highly recommend
