Check in was a breeze, staff were extremely friendly. The food from the bistro was great. The room was clean and tidy, a touch dated but then it’s only for sleeping and a shower. A 60sec walk to the restaurant and bar is a huge plus.

Food is as good as always even on a busy night you aren’t waiting a ridiculous amount if time my personally favourite is the prawn pasta. drinks are reasonably priced. Nice large outdoor area some covered some open. Only thing I’m not a huge fan of is the new renovations everyone has the own taste but it feels too commercialised to me now with way to much white/cream everywhere could of use some darker accents or some accent walls to offset all the white walls and floors. The only part of the new renovations I like is the round booth seat in the bistro.

The renovations look fantastic, and they did an amazing job on the kids' playground! The vibe is really nice, though it was a bit noisy. The water mist was a great touch to help keep cool. However, the food was cold, and the wait was quite long—about 55 minutes—except for the pizzas, which came out faster. We ordered at around 1pm.

Have eaten here several times now.

Terrific venue for adults and families

The recent renovations look great and the complex offers several sitting & eating areas.

Kids have a very large indoor play area freeing up parents to relax

The food is good, very presentable and tasty.

Last night we had meat share board between 3 adults with one pizza and that was plentiful.

It gets very busy and could be waits up to 60 minutes for food orders.

They could do with more bar staff

Quite noisy, more than expected. Acoustics make sounds resonate through area.

Everything else is exceptional except for food. No flavour whatsoever on the menu items. Wait was too long. One would hope that after such a long wait, you would get some tasty food, but we were wrong.

Went tonight for dinner with a group of friends for a birthday.
Haven’t been in many years and won’t be returning.
Food was terrible. Actually haven’t been anywhere on the coast as bad as there. I had grilled salmon. Salmon was ok. Salad so old cabbage was brown.
All other meals on our table were not any better.
Salads were not fresh and were soggy. Chips were horrible stale not freshly cooked.
People are paying there hard earned money and should be much better.

Awesome refurb and venue. Great for the whole family and caters for all needs. Best kids play ground and area of any venue on the coast. The food has a good range and is serviceable pub grub and does the job for a big crowd. They could step up the quality of the food a notch or two to be considered a place with "great pub food" when compared to the best pub meals in the area.
