I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I had high hopes for the pony lead ride but unfortunately, I left feeling extremely disappointed.

The lead ride just did not meet the expectations set by the description or the price, and I felt that the value provided was not in line with what I paid. I went with my two young kids one Sunday, we made a booking at 10:00am and arrived at 9:35am as we were told to arrive early otherwise it may result in exclusion from the ride. However, we were told that the staff leading the ride was arriving late so we had to wait. I don’t think the person arrived on time so we were provided with a student. The ride didn’t start until 10:20 and we were finished by 10:35 as the ride was quite short — just one short, straight path. The person assisting us was very friendly though and very careful with children which I liked.

While I understand that not every experience will be perfect, I do feel that I was misled and did not receive what was promised. Two stars deducted due to price $50 per child for a 15minute ride (the wait was longer than the ride, which I wasn’t happy about) which I find quite expensive than elsewhere. I hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision.

I did the experienced trail ride on Johnny and I was lucky to be the only guest rider. It was loads of fun. Loved chatting with the guide (Jamalie - sorry if thats wrong) who was friendly and fun to ride with. Lots of trotting and cantering opportunities (including a couple of gallops). I felt safe the entire time and Jamalie always made sure I was ready for when it was time to pick up the pace. Thank you for a fun morning!

Amazing experience at Sydney Horse Riding for Mother’s Day. We just did the 1 hour trail ride as we are both beginners. Bit of a drive from Sydney North but cheaper and nicer environment than other riding centres on the central coast. The staff to riders ratio was very good and we felt well looked after. Excellent value for money too.

We had a fantastic experience at Sydney Horse Riding! A special shoutout to Abbey and Bridget, who took my sons on an unforgettable horse ride. They were incredibly professional, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their friendly demeanor and genuine smiles made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend Sydney Horse Riding for anyone looking for a memorable adventure!

We book our girls almost every school holiday as they love it so much. It gives them a sense of responsibility how to take care of animals other than home pets, and it is so different completely. I strongly recommend this day camp...staff is also very friendly and professional at the same time. It's a lot of fun for the kids.

My whole family did a ride and love it! This was our first time, weren’t sure how it will go at first but the staff (Casie if im not mistaken) was so patient, lovely and helpful throughout the private lesson. Emailed them and Tracey replied within 2days, was kind enough guiding us how to enjoy horse riding whilst bringing a 3yo. Wonderful view. We did morning rides and definitely will be back!!

My husband and I recently enjoyed our anniversary and decided to try out the beginners' trail. It was such a lovely experience! We have previously had a bad experience at a different horse stable in the past, which caused us to be hesitant, but this one definitely made up for it!!

We absolutely loved the stables it's so well kept, and the horses are just beautiful. You can really tell that they take good care of each and every one of their horses and they enjoy what they do which makes a huge difference. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, so we felt comfortable and safe at all times.

It was great that we had more than one staff member come out with our group, ensuring our safety. And because they knew their horses well, they did their best to pair everyone up with the right horse. We were paired up with Tilly and Mini, which we loved 😍. We can't wait to come back again and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and gorgeous horses once more! Thanks again to the whole team working hard and taking care of things @ Sydney Horse Riding 🐎 ☺️

Really enjoyed the advanced trail ride. It was a beautiful place to ride, Wally was a good calm horse who was happy to canter when asked. I got there 20 mins early as requested for the 7.30am ride, but ended up just waiting around for 25mins so this seemed a little unnecessary. Staff were nice and the girl (sorry I can't spell her name) who took me out was very friendly and chatty. One star deducted due to the price, which is more expensive than elsewhere for less time.
