My partner and I had a gorgeous dinner recently at CorEat. We started with the bread which was house-baked and delicious. I ordered the smoked salmon and crab salad, which is my regular go-to- such a delicious and fresh combination of flavours and textures! My partner ordered the prawn toast and broth which was a flavour sensation! We loved the brisket and lamb backstrap for our mains- so balanced, tasty, and a generous serving. Chocolate mousse for dessert was the perfect finish to end a beautiful dining experience, accompanied by the perfect cocktails, wine, and attentive service. Cannot recommend enough and we will definitely be back again!

It started off really well - the crab and salmon salad was delicious!
But the chef’s steak (at $48) was a major disappointment. The photo says it all - not in any way juicy, didn’t even taste like a steak in fact. It was bland and utterly mediocre, and I should bave sent it back. Absolutely unacceptable - especially at that price-point.

The barramundi was ok - but over-salted. Would have preferred it if the Korean influence had somehow come through in that dish.

When they asked how was the meal and I told them, they did nothing to even attempt to rectify the situation even slightly (ie a coffee on the house or something along those lines would have been an teeny gesture that would have helped a little).

CorEat never disappoints. We had the five course November degustation menu and all five courses were superb. The presentation and taste of the meal was outstanding, accompanied by amazing service. That’s why we keep returning for more.

I wasn't expecting too much walking in. A few patrons around just after opening for Saturday lunch. Don't let that fool you as this restaurant packed out in the first hour.

Tried a few different dishes.
Duck breast was cooked beautifully and tender to eat.
Razor Clam, Prawn, Scallop With Prawn Toast was an absolute winner of a dish.
Chicken taco was a little sweeter than I was expecting.

🤤✅ DELICIOUS fresh flavorful and beautifully plated meals! Some of us at our table ordered the set degustation menu, which included items that I have never tried before, so I was curious. There were ingredient combinations that I wasn't sure that I might enjoy but EVERYTHING was amazing!! We all remarked that we felt full & very satisfied. I would love to enjoy this same menu all over again 🌟

Went for the first time last week and it was fantastic. Staff were extremely attentive and helpful explaining the details of the dishes and drinks. We had a variety of entrees and mains and everything we ate was delicious, super flavourful and fresh. A bit on the pricey side but you pay for the quality. 10/10 would recommend and will be back soon.
