I love coming here on a night off. I have been coming here since opening night and have worked with some amazing people here. Personally some nights have been hit and miss with specific events going on but it's more just fluctuation, holidays and/or other events going on at other locations. Security is on point as well as enthusiastic and friendly bar staff.

Always felt welcome and invited. Got to know a great community. When it gets busy sometimes the environment gets a little messy, Busy nights can be crowded and service could take a bit too as it is a small team operating, but otherwise always clean, efficient, friendly and a great place to go to!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CHANGE YOUR ENTRY STAMP TO A SMALLER SIZE!! I kid you not I just brought this brand new white top and now it is covered in blue from your stamp. I’ve never had this happen from any other club. It was not only my shirt that got inked, but along with my whole entire friend group. Bernie’s I love you, but I’ve never felt so upset and annoyed while being in your venue just cause of some ink most likely going to be stained in my top

The most fun, vibrant, inclusive club in Newy!! Staff are super friendly and responsible. So many fun things to do, dress up pics as you walk in, mad shots menu, quality entertainment, decor, lights and music was all top notch for a friendly place to dance and meet new people.

I love Bernie’s. I don’t get out often but when I do, this is where I love to hang. The people I have met there are awesome, and I love that every night has its own vibe. It can be really dynamic and fun, and other nights are so chill. What has been created here is a work of true love, inspiration, art and passion, and it inspires the whole energy of the place.
I think Bernie’s also one of the best places to eat in Newy! Bernie’s Kitchen is like a restaurant in its own right. Absolutely check it out

Honestly one of the safest venues in Newcastle.

Growing up with Newcastle and Sydney being the hubs for my night life, Bernie's is the safest venue to date, and I couldn't recommend enough.

Their parties are a vibe and their staff are gorgeous.

And don't get me started on the food and drinks menu 😳 OMG.
