We called in for a convenient pub like feed with my two young children because of the great location and old school appeal. We had a staff member be short and abrupt and just say no, when my kids asked if they could play pool. No explanation.
We were the second people to order lunch. We waited 50 minutes for our buzzer to ring to collect food. The chicken snitty arrived with Dianne sauce completely covering the snitty and the chips and drowning the salad. We did not order the sauce.
4 x cans of Coke Zero was $18

I made a mistake of booking a lawn bowl lane without realising that the bistro was closed on Tuesdays. However, Bec was nice enough to help me out with the confusion about the how the venue operates and the location is a lovely spot

Had lunch on a Wednesday and chose from the $15 menu. Fabulous. Lamb kofta and salad was excellent. Tasty and just enough for lunch. Service great with happy friendly staff. A pleasant vibe. Highly recommended for a lunch with a variety of choice.

A gem by the beach. Step back in time to a casual, relaxed atmosphere with smiling friendly staff and you're in Bar Beach Bowling Club. Thursday lunch was a chance to enjoy the food in a quiet space and soak in the view. Starters of lamb koftas with tzatziki and a big bowl of onion rings was tasty, $12 lunch special menu had the biggest schnitzel I've seen and cooked to perfection, came with chips and salad, definitely value for money. Don't miss out dropping in and sampling the menu. Oreo cheesecake for dessert finished the meal off lovely.

We hosted a 70th birthday party across lunch time, and it was absolutely fantastic. Bec was wonderful to deal with, and all of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. On top of that, the venue was absolutely beautiful. Will definitely be returning here for lunch/dinner and any future functions!

Netty. Was. Here. Obvs popular with the locals. Always drove past and I never really stopped in; except for 1 single time prior.

Idk why I haven’t spent more time here, because this place has it all; for a bowling club located DIRECTLY opposite the beach.

I can smell the barefoot bowls from here; hopefully sweet with salt water.

Fiver $5 Friday. Cool events like B&W Balls. Cheap 🐣 Cocktails. Bowling Greens, side Beer Garden, Outdoor (undercover/smoker area) Pool Tables, TAB. Private Function Rooms.

Now the food.. brilliant. Amazingly accomodating. I don’t like rice and didn’t want to waste a plate of food. Chef was happy to swap out with salad. I appreciate you! Taste and portion size very satisfying. The poppy seeds add a fantastic flavour pop.

Overall this place that has it all. You just need good company!

New years eve dinner 🥗🍽️ and listen to the band , Gary played the 🥁 drums well and the band sounded good , fireworks 🎇🎆 in the distance at 9pm , good night 🌃🌉 had by all. ✅🙂

If I could give zero stars I would! Went out for lunch with 9 of us took an 1 hour for the rest of the table to get their food entrees, bread and mains all at once. Took an extra 45 minutes to get our food after everyone else at the table had finished theirs and ours was stone cold. Don’t go here!
