Pulled in to enquire about an unpowered site for the night and was quoted $43.50!! ||The park was a bit of a dust bowl with zero atmosphere so we promptly thanked the lovely young man (an international backpacker) and left.||Pity the young man wasn't in a position to negotiate a better price as it was about 7.30pm when we pulled in.

Excellent value for money park. Most sites are green and grassy we did have a dirt camp so were jealous of the lovely grass. We also had a non ensuite cabin. Very basic but comfortable beds and pillows, aircon worked well also. Beautiful Kangaroo lake, shady and grassed a great spot for boating and fishing. Shane the caretaker and team couldn't do enough for us, extremely helpful. Older amenities but clean. Worth a stop for sure.

At a very busy time of the holiday season we were greeted by the two hard working ||and welcoming owners of the Kangaroo Lake Caravan Park. The site we were allocated was large enough for a caravan and vehicle with shade on both sides and the amenity block, which was clean and tidy, was within reachable distance. There was a shop on site which provided take away food, newspapers etc. We found the park to be enjoyable with easy access to the lake and surrounding towns. Gez and Clive are to be commended for their attention to their clients' needs and are to be congratulated for their dedication to work ethics whilst being under the pump 24/7. Will definitely return.

Owners Clive and Gez are super friendly and always ready to help. The pizzas are great, Clive makes an awesome double shot late while Gez kept my kids happy with daily Chocolate milkshakes. Cabins are clean, great place to stay!

Touring in our 5 thwheeler we were struggling against very heavy headwinds, so we called in here to wait till the winds died down. What a great little park. The new owners were terrific. They have a great little cafe and shop. Amenities were old but very clean. Grass neatly mown. These people are doing a great job to make this a good park. We will be back. If you want a good , quiet clean place, this is it.

I think it's a nice place good rate nice caretakers we stayed there over Christmas and there was hot water when my family had our showers. It was hot and the air conditioning was nice in our cabin the boat ramp is nice and close if you have a boat.

It is no 5 star resort but that doesn't worry me I will be going back up there soon to go fishing in the lake. The mystic park hotel has some great meals if you are looking for a good feed.

I will say take you own water as the park water is pumped up from the lake.

A quiet time of the year so hard to know what it would be like in summer. We experienced quiet surrounds as not many campers. It was a family camping trip so we had a mix of on site cabins and powered sites for tents. Both were great. The cabin was a two bedroom though one of the beds is off the kitchenette with a curtain dividing. No issue for us as we were not cooking in the kitchen. |It is located next to the lake and a boat ramp and bbq. We spent the day on the green grass under the weeping willow trees with the boat moored nearby and able to be used constantly. Lovely! |Dog friendly too! Bonus

NEW OWNERS MARCH 2017 we stayed 2 nights in march with friends and family and loved every bit of the park. The amenities were spotless, the new owners Clive & Gez are absolutely lovely and up for a chat. Cant wait to see the improvements they have planned for the park as it has been let go for far too long. We will be back!!!!!
