Lovely well-kept and cared-for motel, in a
great spot in front of the local park. Quiet
and private. Short walk to local shops and
pubs. Very kind and friendly owners.
Spotless room with very comfy bed, and
shower was nice and hot within seconds

Great location, room has everything you need for a short stay. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom, good fridge and TV. Although room was close to the main road, there was little to no noise. ||Check in was very easy, and the receptionist was super polite! Check out just as easy, pop the key in the box and away you go. Will stay again if in the area!

This is the fifth time I have stayed here over the past fifteen years and is definitely my first choice of accommodation in Kerang. The rooms are well appointed and clean, bed comfortable and had a good night's rest for the three nights I spent there. Hosts Garry and Gerry are friendly and very obliging. Breakfast was great, just as expected. Room cleaning carried out while I was out during the day.

After travelling around many Australian states for decades I have never have stayed at a Motel of this high standard before. I needed to stay in Kerang on certain dates and I was finding it difficult to secure a room as I was travelling with my son as most accommodation across town was full. I called the Lodden River Motel as the room I required was not available. My phone call was answered by Gerry who offered me an alternative room which we took straight away. On our arrival both Gerry and Gary were very welcoming. The Deluxe Family Room was great, very clean and a decent size with very nice amenities.. The breakfast both mornings was delivered on time and still hot. The overall property was extremely well managed and cared for. As I have family in the district I will be returning.

The hotel had such a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and was well located. It presented very well, clean, neat and tidy. The service was excellent. Everything we wanted. We enjoyed a great stay and thoroughly recommend others enjoy the experience too.

Very clean, neat, spacious and homey rooms. Lots of bench space and a small table so we really could spread out. We had an extra queen in the room too (and we had friends in 4 other rooms that also had that). The bed was comfortable, and everything you expect was in the room. The parking was outside our door - too easy. The location was perfect and easy to find; on the way into Kerang when coming from Melbourne and a 2 mins drive to the shops.
If we are ever up that way again, we would definitely be going there again.

Our family had a wonderful experience at the Loddon River Motel. Gary and Gerry were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in late. They bent over backwards to make our two night stay a positive experience. The room was comfortable and clean, and perfect for celebrating a family wedding.
