Came here with a local who recommended his restaurant. Definitely did not disappoint. Food was really tasty, good portions and well priced. The sweet and soup was good, lots of of bones in the fish though but that's part of having whole fresh fish chunks in the soup.

It's a long way from home. I usually come to VBites for a quick meal after seeing my chiropractor. His clinic is just cross the road.

I don't eat out much in general as most restaurants are lacking vegetarian dishes. Take away today after chiro treatment. Absent-minded and lingered low back pain while I was there.
I walked out of the restaurant without paying.

I was embarrassed to be called back to pay my meal. The shop owner didn't mind and said it was a genuine mistake and told me not to worry.
I then paid and still felt quite uncomfortable the whole way home.

I figure the best thing I can do is to give his restaurant a good review for the kind-hearted owner and his humility, and no doubt the good quality food here.😊

VBites also has a full A4 size page dedicated to vegetarian food! 👍

Wasn't impressed by the 2 minute noodles in the soup but the overall taste apart from that was fine. Rice paper rolls were fresh and tasty. Subtracted a star because the owner told off the waitress in front of us which was awkward and unprofessional.

Had the tomato rice with shaken beef $18.5 and mate had spicy soup with vermicelli noodles $17.5. The tossed beef was delicious but the rice was hard and appeared to be kept in the fridge for many days and was reheated. The spicy soup was alright and needed to be a bit spicier. Also had the soursop frappe $8 and fried ice cream $13, both brilliant! Service was nice, great atmosphere and thought the neon signs was a cute touch.

The dishes served to table very fast after ordered, total costs $35. Pork chop very dry and cannot chew, soup comes along is very salty. Beef pho noodle is fine.

My husband and I are from Maroubra but wanted to see this place as it has been recommended by friends. And it did not disappoint at all!

The food was so tasty and the portion sizes for generous despite the low price. We both ordered Pho both with beef. Pho is one of my favourite noodles to eat and I crave it a lot and this was definitely one of the best I’ve had. The broth was perfect and tasted beautiful!

The staff were so friendly and the place was small but still accomodated a lot of customers. It was a relatively busy Sunday afternoon when we came but managed to get tables straight away.

I have been coming to VBites regularly for over the past 5 years because the food is consistently delicious and fresh. Their longevity is testament to their quality and commitment to authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

One of my favourite things to get are the DIY cuon with tom and thit.
