You need to go here. Great Malay/Chinese cuisine. Try the special fried rice, yum.
Satay, curry, chicken, pork, fish and beef dishes-all good. The plumb sauce is a must to try with chicken or pork.
Service people-terrific.
Atmosphere clean and very pleasant. This restaurant is within the Barham club. Ideal for an economical lunch also.
Call club for Don's kitchen opening times. I guarantee u won't b disappointed.

Butter pepper chicken so tough, could well have been left over from lunch. Special fried rice, a couple of prawns but nothing special about it. Normally a very good meal but not tonight.

We had heard such good things but it was very disappointing, not much flavour in anything we got.. beef in the mongolian beef was like rubber, there was more onion then anything in the mongolian beef and the satay chicken, the 'special Fried rice' tasted like a microwave packet.. best thing was the prawn crackers.. we definitely won't be back

Large group of us, dined in at Don's Kitchen last night. The food was delicious, as usual.
There were two staff waiting on us during the night. One staff member, was doing a great job in a courteous and friendly manner, while the other staff member, Susie, was berating her loudly across our table in the middle of the dinig room. This appeared to us, completely rude and definitely uncomfortable for all. Maybe Susie needs a lesson in hospitality. This isn't the first time we've had an issue with Susie at Don's Kitchen and her rudeness, but the first time I've felt strongly enough to report it. The lovely waitress ( sorry, can't remember her name), was obviously upset, but happily continued to do a great job, despite her ill treatment.

Food was very good. Stopped at the sign saying wait here to be seated. Girl at the register 10 feet away just looked at us. She was the only one there. Eventually we went over to her and asked are we supposed to come in or wait till next month. Just a vacant look was all we got.
In short,based on other things that happened, I won't be going back there.

Went into dons kitchen today for one of there lunch specials don't get me wrong the food was delicious ordered the Mongolian beef, wasn't as spicy as I hoped for, and I swear I asked for fried rice but I believe this is steamed rice I'm not to sure as I have not gotten Chinese here before, but I looked at there pitures online and my rice does look different from what they have as fried rice, I even called to make sure and he said it was fried(I'm just not positive it is as the rice felt very wet and white) when the fried usually has a tinge of colour to it
