Viva Holidays are in partnership with Hello World travel agencies. On the 9th of January I booked a stay at the Sheraton Gold Coast Mirage and paid the bill at Hello World in Ballina. I arrived at the Mirage on the 29th of January only to learn that Viva hadn’t transferred the money and the only way I could get a room was to pay again. Thankfully the hotel and Hello World sorted the manner.
My advice with regards to Viva Holidays is to avoid doing business with them.

Booked to go for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Sydney traveling from Melbourne. My sister and I booked in February for airfares, Platinum seats and accommodation all paid in full. Then in May I added another sister with assurances all good no problem again paid in full. Be aware if adding to a booking there will be issues. First we were allocated row 2 at the Tattoo then reallocated to row 3 because of the change to booking then the airfares are separate not on same booking, I just hope we can sit together. The accommodation was to have a walk in shower but upon confirmation it is over the bath (Vibe hotel). We are 3 grandmothers looking forward to a mini holiday as we are there for 2 nights only☹️
