I have been living in the beautiful Byron Bay for 8 weeks and have needed to access public transport locally and interstate. Jan and the team have helped connect me with the information I needed in such a warm, generous and friendly manner. They are proud of where they live and are perfect ambassadors for this coastal paradise. I feel so welcomed and the town is lucky to have such a kind team to support locals and visitors alike.

Helpful and friendly staff willing to share all the local tips

I went there to see if they had any tours for me to do kayaking with dolphins on the following day. Because it’s during new year, I didn’t have high hopes for the availability. But they managed to book one for me. I believe there are many operators at Byron Bay. If your hostels/hotels can not book one for you, can come here to try.

I also asked about walking tracks in this area, the lady was so nice to draw the track that she recommended on the map. She also shared cafés and local markets info with me. It’s really nice of them.

Here at 3:30 on a Thursday to find ut closed. Laminated note on door says they open at 10am, but no closing time. Website indicates 4pm. Other tourist who arrived is similarly confused.

They are slow. I stand here in hot weather waiting. Has nice tree out front though. Good for shade. Also man busking across road is good. ITS HOT… this is an update. Have been waiting for an hour now. We got told they opened at 10:30. It’s now 11:35. Lots of people were waiting and have since left. It’s honestly ridiculous at this point. Unreliable.

Amazing place, I highly recommend to go there at the start of the trip so the lovely ladies who work there can advise you about everything and give some tips.
