Joan and her staff at Bangalow post office have been nothing short of wonderful. Great service, great product knowledge and fabulous sense of humour. It’s great to have the parcel locker for after hours, but I do enjoy the interaction whenever I go in.I always leave in a good mood!

I’m grateful to live locally to this post office. The staff are cheerful, friendly and really helpful who always remember their returning customers. Yes sometimes there’s a line but that’s because Bangas is a busy little town. Apparently the previous management had terrible social skills but that is absolutely not the case now! Always a please to step in and collect my parcels.

What an incredible Post Office this has become. The new ownership has breathed fresh life into it. It’s now happy, friendly and so efficient. The new owners have a great sense of humor and are exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. As a business customer this has made the experience so much easier and my customers are getting the parcels so much quicker and I’m now saving money on my postage thanks to the new owner’s interest in helping me set up properly. What a change!!!

The service at Bangalow PO is truly exceptional. I had trouble lodging my passport renewal online and every lady in this office helped me to do it. They were so so helpful, and I was extremely grateful as they were very patient, offering perfect customer service.

How can this post office get customer service so wrong in a region rich with otherwise beautiful people? I can only imagine mail-theft must be rife in Bangalow, with nefarious characters rifling through other folk’s letterboxes to find delivery notice cards to pilfer and illicitly present to claim a mystery parcel. Why else would identity-proof be demanded every one of the dozens of times I collect a parcel here? (Although I don’t know why an identity-thief would put up with the tardy service just to steal a package containing unknown contents…). And the wait is interminable, as queues stretch around the room, out the door, around the building, surely a sign that staff-to-customer ratios need refining. Redirect your mail to be served by the amazing staff at nearby Tintenbar or Suffolk Park post offices: the trip will save you time and it’ll be a pleasant experience too.

The most appalling, obstructive and frankly unkind and inhuman service I have ever encountered at a post Office. I heard the owner Karen was moving on- I truly hope this is the case! Here is to hoping for a normal, polite individual who actually cares about the importance of these critical businesses for small towns and has a sense of community. Karen the current owner (hopefully leaving) is one of the worst, rudest, mean spirited and petty individuals and should NOT be in any form of customer service

I'm not surprised there are so many poor reviews. I had the unfortunate experience of having to visit for the first time recently. The female staff member that served me was rude and condescending and determined to try and pick a fight over the most trivial thing. The excellent service and friendliness we've experienced during our month spent in Bangalow was thankfully in sharp contrast to that of the Bangalow Post Office.
