Had a great meal in the Bistro, my wife had the Salmon, Asparagus, Hollandaise, Chips & Salad and she said it was the best pub meal she has ever had, I ordered a Mediterranean Pizza that was just delicious, generous size meals and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. If you are in Cowra the Imperial Hotel is a must visit for a meal & cold beer. I would recommend booking a table as the Bistro fills quickly and you don't want to be disappointed.

Great location but you do hear some train noise. I should’ve had another drink from the good selection in the nicely appointed bar areas therefore wouldn’t have heard a thing 😉
Rooms are standard motel style with good size and shape so a small lounge and dining area. Nice shower in a small but functional bathroom. Plenty of parking and staggering distance to the hotel at front.
Dinner at the hotel was generous and served fast. Nice meals of good pub food.

Dead set; stop reading this review and just grab a steak. Sensational food. I loved their options of drinking vessels. And the kids loved their play room. And the log fires out back were great! Staff were great, too. Just go.

I had the opportunity to try the salad featuring a combination of fresh greens and roasted vegetables with feta. While the roasted components were delightful and paired excellently with the feta, the decision to mix them with the fresh green salad on the same plate fell short of expectations.

The contrast between the warm, roasted vegetables and the cool, crisp greens was jarring rather than harmonious.

It felt as though the dish hadn't been thoroughly tasted in its final form;
Perhaps serving the roasted vegetables and fresh greens as separate components or reimagining the combination could improve the overall dining experience.

I appreciate the effort and creativity in the kitchen, but a slight adjustment in this dish could make a significant difference. Thank you for the otherwise enjoyable dining room.

Unfortunately it’s a negative review from me. We went for dinner last Wednesday night and I ordered the kids Spaghetti Bolognaise that had a piece of Steel Wool in it as long as my small finger. After taking it to the counter to show the staff lady I thought a visit from the chef might follow but this didn’t happen. So glad my son felt it in his mouth as he was chewing as he is only 2yrs old.

This place is the best place to eat in Cowra (maybe tie best with the Thai Yim).
Amazing food and serving sizes!!
Nice atmosphere. Truly great knowledge and adaptability for food allergies.
My only negative was the deserts were not on the same quality level as the main meals, we couldn't reccomend them. The mains though, are so incredible!!!
