Amazing stay at Sun Ranch. Rooms were comfortable (loved the linen bedding) and stylish. Breakfast included in the mornings was amazing, but the standout feature was the staff. So accommodating and helpful. Had an awesome massage with Sarah booked through Sun Ranch as well. My friends and I had such an amazing stay we’re thinking about making it a yearly birthday venture. 10/10 would recommend!

We chose to spend the first half of our honeymoon at Sun Ranch and boy was it the right choice! The perfect haven to land post wedding high, we softened so comfortably into the serene embrace this place offers. Highlights were daily yoga (with Sharne), an epic breakfast spread and the very close proximity to Byron and neighbouring towns in the Northern Rivers area. We left feeling rejuvenated, rested and looking forward to our next stay at Sun Ranch. Musts: get a car, will make your stay so much easier, eat at Ciao Mate and hit up the sauna and ice bath. Thank you to the staff who were all a 10/10!

We visited the sun ranch with our 3 month old baby and were just blown away. This has got to be one of the best hotels in Australia. The service was absolutely phenomenal. The staff greet you like family and they go above and beyond to make your stay special. With a new baby the barns were an excellent choice as the rooms are really dark and parents can enjoy the balcony and kitchen without disturbing. We ordered the home made lasagna both night that was sent to our room. It was delicious! You can also have margaritas and wine cans sent to room whenever you like. We choose to hang out at ‘the lair’ for some snacks and drinks which was also a fantastic vibe. Can’t wait to come back! Ps 2 nights isn’t long enough!

We haven’t stopped raving about Sun Ranch after our stay! The design, location, staff, food & drinks, and pool, every detail. We’d barely arrived before asking to extend—and we’re already planning our return. Originally was our babymoon, so we’d booked an adults-only pool room, but our baby arrived early and came along, so we stayed in a barn room, which we loved even more.

It’s a great spot for everyone, but most ideal for couples and groups of friends. Would be an unreal wedding spot.

My daughter and I have just had the most amazing 3 days at Sun Ranch. Everything about this place is simply superb if you’re looking to get away from it all, soak in the magical views, lounge by the pool, sip margaritas or just do nothing on your barn balcony. The staff are all amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they certainly go out of their way to meet your requests. Just want to give Gemma a special thank you for making our stay so memorable with the service you gave us 🍸🍸we will definitely be back!

We loved this place so much!! Cool, relaxed but not contrived. The super friendly and warm staff set the tone of this hotel from the moment you arrive. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a super cool Argentinian / Vintage / 70's vibe and overlooks the most magic farmland in the Byron hinterland. Incredibly comfortable cabins fitted out with all the luxuries you would expect (and more- the bed linen was heaven!).
The stunning lakeside sauna and ice bath was an absolute hit with my husband and I, as too was the amazing 25 metre pool (with poolside f & b service). Delicious breakfast each morning & an incredible evening meal from the chef in residence.
We could not fault this place - our only regret was we didn't stay longer. But we'll be back. Thank you Sun Ranch.

A great rural retreat only 15 minutes from Byron Bay. The rooms were great, big beds, good WiFi, big television with streaming and terrestrial channels. Good facilities including pool, sauna and ice bath. Breakfast was lovely, including cereals, eggs, bacon, fruit, bread.

The only thing that would make this place better is a restaurant, at least on Fridays and Saturdays. Having said that it is possible to drive a short distance to Bangalow.

This experience was a dream. Think horses roaming open fields, welcome salty margs, morning yin beneath the trees and a floating lake sauna. My dog Buddy and I stayed in a barn atop the hills overlooking the ranch. We woke to birds and horses and spent our days poolside. Every element has been so well thought out from the incredible styling to the hand made ceramic vessels by Lisa Lapointe we drank our house brewed coffee from in the mornings. We didn’t have to leave our oasis for our entire stay since a full breakfast was available every morning, a pool menu for lunch and we had the ranch made lasagne and crispy salad in the evening that was brought direct to our hill top. The staff were all out of this world. So attentive and welcoming and Buddy was in heaven with all the pats. I cannot recommend this enough. The most rested I’ve felt in years.
