I went to Mimis in December for my engagement and had the worst experience of my life. I have a hearing disability and was just engaged, literally an hour before dinner. My mum was making a speech to congratulate us (I was literally filming before we were interrupted by the staff) and were told we were too loud and need to quieten down. I explained that i have a hearing issue and if my mums talking louder its because i am partially deaf, his response was I don't care, be quiet. I started crying and we left. I sent an email to them after the incident and didn't get a reply. I emailed them again in January and no reply. To be treated like this is disgusting and the video I have shows that it was louder in the restaurant than my mum was speaking. To treat someone with a disability like this is horrible, his response was even worse. Then not to get so much as a reply to my complaint, i expected more, especially from a company like Merivale

We just had our wedding last Saturday at Ivyballroom and it was such a great night and surpassed our expectations. The entire planning process was so smooth and Chloe and Charlotte from the wedding team made it so easy, even though we were planning the wedding from overseas. The staff on the night were also exceptional!!! Not to mention food was on point!

The pizza recommended by the sexy bartender was as delicious as he looked, even though my mate was too busy talking about his colonoscopy (not the best conversation starter) just as well he was a true professional.

The food was quick and hot, not going to say anything more don't want to be done for harassment 😂

Please train your staff to take orders properly. Customer service needs a serious upgrade. We ordered a croissant and kept waiting and then we reminded her and the waitress said sorry we missed your order. That was really confusing order for her. Wasted time and money for nothing

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience. By the time I got home from my lunch on Saturday 11th of June, I was feeling bloated, I had a very big headache and was feeling sleepy. I called the restaurant to ask if they add MSG to there dishes and they told me yes, most dishes have MSG. I could not believe what I was hearing, I paid premium price for lunch that is full of MSG. I asked why it is not noted on the menu or on their website and they told me if I asked them, they would let me know. Wow how can a restaurant that charges so much for there dishes, add MSG. In any case, I was sick for 2 days and I wont be returning or recommending Queen Chow to anyone.

Last week we held our sitdown wedding reception at The Establishment Bar.
Thank you for a wonderful night, it was truely amazing!! Sooo many ppl commented on the food & the venue! I will never forget the moment that we walked into the Gin Garden to the roar of all our friends & family - it was huge! Everything with the event was soo seemless & went off without a hitch. The event managers on the night were great & even things like dropping off all the flowers etc was brilliant, plus they kept all the vases & boxes etc just as we requested. The packup was soo easy as well. Everyone was so great to work with, Charlie our event manager ensured everything went as planned. I wouldn’t hesitate to hold an event here again.

The staff are not helpful, they don't respond to emails and it makes it very hard when trying to book for an event. The communication in general is very poor, I'd give Merivale Group a 1/5 rating.

Nice to know what hotels are controlled by justin hemmes ,so that i can avoid them and not get ripped off/by price ,and filthy glasses with flat hot beer.David Arkell
