The catering industry is an absolute disaster, a toxic, soul-destroying nightmare where you're treated like garbage. The pay is an insult for the amount of work you’re expected to do, and the management is beyond incompetent—disorganized, disrespectful, and completely indifferent to your well-being. They don’t care about your stress, your hours, or the fact that you’re doing the work of multiple people while being constantly underappreciated. Overtime? Forget it. You’ll never see a dime for it, no matter how much extra you put in. You're forced to deal with lazy, clueless staff who can’t do their job, leaving you to pick up the pieces while management does nothing. If you have any self-respect, you should run as far away from this nightmare as possible and never even think about returning. I SAID WHAT I SAID!

Terrible management. Pretend they don’t know the difference between catering assistant and kitchen hand. One of the head cooks who holds a management role is rude, belligerent, arrogant and treats female staff horribly. Recently lost a contract for good reason. I’ve had 15 years to see what this guy is like but is still with company for some reason.
