Ern and Alison represent the very best of Australian hospitality. They are warm and generous hosts who go out of their way to make sure your stay is a success. The house provides everything you could want on holiday, even a beach towel should you wish to get in that wonderful sea after a long flight. The double bedroom is large and airy with plenty of storage space. There is a well appointed bathroom and shower next door and a kitchen with all the usual creature comforts. The house is ideally located in a quiet cul-de-sac with no through traffic with local buses a few minutes away and Manly itown and beaches within walking distance. Jacaranda House has it all and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Ern and Allison are the consummate hosts. With all the options I had, in places to stay stumbling across Jacaranda was the ultimate lodging. Ern and Allison were so gracious and the location was perfect. Being our first visit to Australia they made my girlfriend and I feel right at home. With its close proximity the the buses we were able to explore Manley and Sydney and had a most enjoyable time. Jacaranda is very quite, with a beautifully landscaped grounds. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Allison kept us in plenty of fresh linens and towels. I will highly recommend it and hope that some day we may return for another extended stay. It was the Perfect base camp for our exploration of Australia. Jacaranda is truly a hidden jewel.

We had a great stay at Jacaranda Bed & Breakfast. The hosts Alison & Ern were great at being flexible for our late arrival time. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The room was clean and also provided tea, coffee and continental breakfast in the kitchenette. It was very convenient to a shopping centre, cafes and takeaway food options. It was reasonably priced and we will be back.

We loved the aspect facing the back garden and the privacy the hosts gave us to enjoy the rooms and the outdoor patio. The bed was very comfortable and we were able to keep cool at night with the fan going. It was a great space to come back to at the end of a very busy days enjoying the Manly area and visiting with family. Thanks for the extra touches with flowers in the room and all we needed for a comfortable stay. We hope to come back and would recommend this B and B. Wendy

Thank you Alison & Ern for sharing your hospitality & comfortable accommodation with us. It was just what we needed, quiet, peaceful location. Enjoyed having the choice to walk back from Manly each afternoon or take a bus, which was very convenient, reliable and affordable. We had a huge choice of restaurant's in Manly or finding one to satisfy our taste buds on our walk back to Jacaranda. Your home was welcoming and warm. We will certainly recommend or look you up if we return to your location.

The owners are most hospitable and friendly. The house is within easy reach of public transport into the city. Access to the garden is a highlight. Microwave and washing machine are all available. Heating and a ceiling fan are installed. A light breakfast of cereal and tea or coffee is provided but otherwise it is necessary to self cater. Internet access is easy. Reading material is provided.

Hosts were great people, as a solo female traveller they were very helpful, ||Bed was super comfy, slept very well, good bathroom and kitchette with everything I needed.....a couple of tiny things I would suggest ...a new electric jug, as the one there is very black inside, not dirty at all, but just stained, also I forgot to mention when I was there that the hair dryer cut out while I was using it........but a fantastic BnB, but you do need a car, or if using the buses you must have an Opal card available at newsagents. Taxi down to Man,y cost between $15-$20

This was my third time staying here. The location in Balgowlah is quiet, but still it's easy enough to get to Manly or any of the northern beaches, as well as the CBD using public transit or a car. Spotless spacious, use of the yard, patio and BBQ. Perfect!
