This was great for a one night quick stay over during our drive back to qld and we were lucky to get the second last room at $150 per night which was good. The room was good clean fresh towels fridge microwave and clean except for a few small roaches running around which did bother us. Check out was normal 10am and returned the key into box unfortunately couldn't discuss the roach issue as reception was closed.

I probably will never recommend this place to anyone, my room was dirty, i moved things to have a look and found a second set of keys in room, shampoo from someone else fridge had drinks in it, there was nose boogers and marks on wall, no screen door for security considering i was in EVP. manager was nice UNTIL my car was covered and damaged with spray paint Which they started before i got back i was then told to move car after the fact and she is now refusing to be responsible for damaging my car. she has ignored two emails so contacted fair trading.
we were not given noticed of spray painting either room STUNK of pain woke up sick.

The staff there are just great, so friendly and helpful. The beds were so comfortable, and the rooms were smallish for a family room but really clean and the shower pressure was fantastic. The pool was great after a long drive. Other than the occasional car, only heard when the door was open, the room were really quite.

Yes from other reviews it is a little outdated but if you need a bed for a night or two close to the centre of town this isn’t that bad. The hotel offers everything you need. Microwave, toaster, jug etc. great water pressure. Clean nice feeling linen. We enjoyed our stay. The car park is a little tight but it’s off street and I felt safe. For the costs it’s worth it. Spend your saving at the RSL just down the road. The staff couldn’t be more helpful.

Arrived after a long drive.
Reception staff where rude, told us they weren't dog friendly which is fair however the rooms wouldn't have been worse off, the beds are musty the air-conditioning has mould in the fan part, dust on the fans. We just wanted to find somewhere else to stay and needed to sit down and find another place. Was told we needed to leave asap. A bit of understanding would have gone better. The cleaning staff where the only redeeming experience

Room smelled of smoke, air conditioner smelled of smoke very unpleasant. Had to return to office to ask for room to be deodorised and wifi password as I wasn’t given this at time of booking in. Came and deodorise room and spray perfume but this only masked smell. No hot water for a shower, freezing water!!! Again back to office to check situation and was told story of hot water system not working properly however if I read previous reviews beforehand I would of seen that other guests 2-3 months prior were having cold showers. Lovely size king bed, but hard as nails and room only provides 3 pillows. No information on town in room itself. Bathroom was best smelling area of room, reasonably clean, but still found someone else’s hairs tie in shower area. Only a light curtain over the bathroom window which does make you feel a little exposed but good for trying to air out room. You could hear neighbouring guests||And top floor guests moving around in their rooms.

This would be classed at the bottom end of the market. Very tired and in need of makeover. Great location. Parking a little tight for larger vehicles. Housekeeping a bit hit and miss, check quantities of towels and such before a shower. All furnishings worn, aged and starting to fail. Beds very firm, (hard). Has microwave, toaster & sink.

Whilst the beds had clean linen & the shower was hot, that was the end of the good points! Aircon was only in back bedroom. The noise from the occupants upstairs was INSANE. We got no sleep at all!! The dining table could not be sat at due to the leg falling off, as it was propped up against the wall. The bathroom towel rail fell off several times. The bathroom was terribly unclean. I honestly walked in the room & just cried!! Had we been able to source accomodation elsewhere at such short notice, we would have. Its very apparent the owners are hell bent on cutting costs & doing their on D.I.Y reno's, which is very sub-standard.
Do yourself a favour & definately do not stay here. Reception staff were very friendly, but unfortunately the owners have already done the damage.
