We stayed overnight here with a group of us on a motorbike ride out to Coolah.
Loved this experience. We were very grateful for the service and help that all staff provided during our stay. They organised for our bikes to be safe. Our meals were delicious and the location was great.
The room I stayed in was a standard room with a very comfortable bed and all linen provided including towels for the showers.
The showers are shared showers so you may have to wait your turn but otherwise, all clean and tidy.
Nice place to stop and again - thank you to the staff that looked after us all.

The food here is absolutely amazing. The beer is cold as you would expect the service unbelievably good. Everyone has a smile. Everyone is happy to have a chat. Fantastic country Pub this one highly recommend you stop in and say hello

The rooms and bathrooms were filthy.
We refunded our monies and went elsewhere
We were questioned " what's the problem " by management and told " they are only pub rooms"
No excuse for the filth

The publican was friendly, the beer was cold but don't eat there, the roast beef had to be shoe leather with gravy.!!

Comfortable beds. Shared showers and toilets were not segregated by sex and the toilet near my room didn't have a privacy lock. Shared lounge with a kettle, coffee and tea but no cups! I went and asked for a cup in the bar and got one, but in the morning had to rush my cuppa so the other guests could use my cup, because there was nobody around to get a cup from. Quite noisy from everything rattling in the wind. Nice building and seems like a popular watering hole and dining option.

We dropped in for lunch today at this older pub.
The pub looks so good from the front, the bartender was friendly. We ordered 2 beef burgers with chips. Didn’t take long at all and the lady that bought them over was very chatty. As we were leaving we notice the 4 Cowra fireman also stopped for lunch. Obviously they know lunch is good there as well.

Looks great for country pub. BUT! Rude staff, no personality, come across as too busy to chat but would stand at the end of the bar right next to us and watch the TV. Poker Machines were shut off! Food was average, wrong sauce come out and when I asked to get the right one the owner come out and subtly argued with me to say it was the correct sauce and that's how they serve it - wrong.. Dianne isn't served cold.
After dinner we wondered down to the only other pub in town and my god the service was amazing, they were passionate about their job and their pokies were actually switched on!

Under new management as of 09/2023. Beutifully renovated premises keeping that country pub style with fresh accomodations and facilities.
Owners are a long standing local family with the respect of our community, with morals and patrons values at heart, Great meals and service from their Cook that has many years experience as a well respected shearers cook and knows how to feed a hungry bunch, so if your coming through, stop in for a refresher, lunch or dinner, Weekend entertainment, free juke box, DJ, and live bands when posted, you will not be disappointed.
