Love this place. It's such a good mix of people. Younger crowd at the top with DJ's, punters on the side with their own bar and sports screens, and an eclectic mix on the ground floor, with locals, families and IG models alike!

Always a great time at the royal Oak,
Especially when Alex is mixing the drinks. Everytime I go here, Alex mix’s the best cocktails I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. He makes the royal oak experience, and I cannot recommend him enough.

Attended a birthday party for 10 people. Sat in the upstairs section. Tables were filthy. No staff supervision at all. A lack of product in the upstairs bar. The bartender could not be bothered to request the product. So I took it upon myself to ask the duty manager to get the product upstairs.
The quality of the food was quite good.
Scotch fillet with mashed potato @ $50 is not worth the value.
This pub is really poorly managed.

We enjoyed lunch here with family while visiting Sydney. The chicken burger was the best we have ever tasted! Packed full of lots of crispy chicken and other tasty fillings, with a large side of crispy fat fries! 10/10

Just had one of the worst interactions with a staff member. Brown-haired girl with glasses at the bar, I hadn’t seen her before so I’m wondering of she is new. She was unnecessarily passive aggressive and a bit condescending, whereas I was just kindly asking questions and trying to be nice. Not a good customer-service experience. I will be avoiding her in the future.

Great food and atmosphere. 7 of us went for dinner on Sunday for a family get-together and the food was fantastic - the roasted pork belly and the grilled barramundi were delicious.

Nice bar, but the teenagers behind the bar have 0 hospo skills. Not the first time I've enjoyed the bitter cold on a warm day at the Oak. Your business is hospitality. Simple, be hospitable - there is a culture problem here only management can fix if they choose to.

Brought up with manners. So bothers me when bar staff don't speak or smile and demonstrate no customer service skill whatsoever. It is below my expectation for any customer facing roll and there is no excuse. Perhaps hire more experience.
