We have been here a few times now. This time was for the meat raffle and trivia. $20.00 worth of raffle tickets and we won two meat trays, along with our trivia team member- they also won! Three trays all up.
With all the excitement of trivia we did accidentally leave our meat trays in the fridge behind the bar with our names attached. We went in the following morning once they reopened. Advised they weren't there and to await a call from the night manager.
Night manager calls and advises that the meat was off and that the meat tray that was raffled off just 15 hours earlier had to be thrown out. Raffled held 8/1/25 and expires 8/1/25. We were given no other compensation or explanation. I truly believe that the night staff had a wonderful roast lamb dinner with a Tbone side amongst the rest of the trays. Incredibly disappointing after spending so much money in the establishment.
If you are the meat supplier for the raffle, I STRONGLY suggest connecting with the hotel in regards to the off meat and their accusations.

Food and service was nice, no real wait for either, table service came out fast. Undercover kids play area was really good but maybe someone to observe the kids occasionally as the safety gate was being left open and some kids were bullying other smaller children and there parents didn't seem to care. All in all a great experience

I went here for my birthday & everyone who attended enjoyed their meals, unfortunately I did not. I ordered a battered prawn dish that was over cooked & had oil infused into the prawns. It's the only time I've ever had a bad meal at this restaurant so I'm not going to hold it against them, especially as everyone else had no complaints. I just think I'll avoid anything that's deep fried from now one. Please don't let this bad experience turn you off going there as I really think it was a one off situation.

Attended here for a lunch. The blonde woman taking bistro orders was extremely rude and seemed like we owed her a favour for her doing a job that she is employed to do. My parents ordered 2 parmigianas and 1 schnitzel, this was not taken correctly and as I walked past the bistro pass, two members of staff (including the rude blonde) were bitching and eye rolling about it. Too bad if someone was allergic to tomato, but anyway.

This same attitude continued across multiple incorrect orders for our tables.

It is strongly suggested that staff correct parents who do not watch their children in the outdoor playground as there were teenagers pushing over toddlers and not a parent in sight.

Went for lunch today with my sister and our 7 grandchildren. My sister and I ordered the rump steak Thursday special. 1 was rare the other medium rare the steak was so tough very hard to cut and very tasteless. It was $18 plus extra for a sauce so not worth it. The staff was very friendly but the food was not good so we won't be going back

The staff are absolutely rude. Meals are expensive, and the bistro staff talk about their customers in a not so friendly manner when they stuff up an order. I will never be back .

The meals are good, most staff are lovely, BUT ONE BIG MISTAKE.
they don't sell middies !!
I find this really un-accommodating if you really want beer but don't drink schooners. Not everyone wants to sit there chugging schooners. Needs to be more thoughtful in their decision making, it's about customer service too, not just profit.

We headed to the Argy for a weekend lunch. The venue was clean, modern and fresh. The staff were wonderful and full of energy. The meals were delicious. Schnitzels, steak sandwiches and fish. All were fresh, hot, and delicious. A great range of drinks also on tap. The kids playground was a hit with my daughter. Highly recommended for all, it was fabulous.
