This is truly a wonderful place, and the staff are amazing and polite. I am an honest reviewer and if a place is rubbish, you know I will tell you that. But this is truly a good place to stay. 5 🌟
Edit - the guys at Jewish house in Ashfield like Olivia and Marcus really helped me in my time of need. I was not there that long and they helped me to find a place to live that was both suitable and affordable. If the owners of Jewish House Ashfield read this, I want you to know that the caseworkers here are an integral part of the process to getting a suitable place to live and they managed to succeed where others have all failed. A pay raise wouldn't be a bad idea. So thank you Jewish House Ashfield and thank you caseworkers for all your help. You have really come through.

A haven of hope. First place so far where you are welcomed with warmth, humanity, - and even a little gift box of essentials that brings tears of joy! -, guided and helped daily with administrative requirements, even offered some food. THE JEWISH HOUSE is an extraordinary organisation, whose mission is carried with pride by its wonderful staff and honours the Jewish tradition of hospitality, of support to those in need, and the memory of those persecuted and ignored during the Shoah. Respect.

Great for the price, easy walk to the train station and only half a dozen stops to the city. Breakfast was basic, but great that it was included. There was a full kitchen available for guests to use. We managed to get one of the 3 car parks out the front, but there appears to be ample free on-street parking close by on quieter residential streets. When we first entered our room there was a strong smell of air freshener that soon dissipated after opening the windows. There was some noise from the street on a Saturday night and an early morning airplane fly-over that made it a little difficult ( but not impossible) to sleep.

Quiet area though far from the city if you'd like to be more near the centre. The breakfast for me was fine and has some nice paintings to look at and books to read. However the bathroom had to be shared and the wifi had a habit of disconnecting at times.

One of the best B&Bs' I've stayed at. Five out of five stars. Location great. Shops & public transport nearby. Clean & fresh throughout. Comfortable bed, friendly service. Pleasant quiet area to sit & eat, read or chat outside. Plus a nice dining room off the kitchen to eat, read etc. Spotless kitchen to cook or heat up a meal. There is boiling water plus mugs to make a tea & coffee in the dining room at any time. Breakfast is provided also. There is the laundry with several machines where one can do washing at a nominal cost.

Staff was great. Communication was awesome. Room was tidy. Didn't try breakfast but plenty of variety. Room was cheap; close the city; got what we expected for the price. Friendly customer service. Will stay again when back in Sydney.

At a reasonable cost. It felt hostel like. But that didn’t bother us. Clean bedrooms and throughout. Comfortable beds. Amazingly friendly and laid back staff. We used bus during out stay (bus stop straight outside) though some people preferred using train station to commute (further down road). Can’t think of any downsides!

It was ok. Staff weren't weren't ever rude. I only used the place as somewhere to sleep. Never hung around. The towels were very thin (but I actually like that). I had to switch the fridge on. Nothing in there. Got a private bathroom. All up it was cool.
