So glad we found Petersons Armidale Winery and Guesthouse. We stayed for 2 nights the rooms and the building is all just beautiful, staff are extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them to make your stay 10/10. We visited the cellar door and really enjoyed the wines and food available. We also visited the restaurant for dinner which was superb and had cooked breakfast both mornings in the Breakfast dining room. I would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate in staying there again.

Such an incredible spot! We had our wedding at Peterson’s Guest House and Winery. It was the most perfect day. The staff were absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing. The rooms are huge and stunning! Louise, thank you for helping us through every step of the planning process. We had such an amazing time and we can’t wait to visit again.

We recently held our wedding at Petersons and it was everything we could have dreamed of thanks to the incredible team! Their attention to detail did not go without notice by us, or any of our guests.

A special shout out to Louise who supported us over the 11 months leading up to the day. She answered every question we had in our long lengthy emails and nothing was ever an issue. She worked with us to plan all of the smaller details and gave us the freedom to add things/make changes to ensure it was unique to us.

A special shout out to Penny who steered the ship during the week/weekend of our wedding. From our perspective we seen a calm and efficient team of staff who executed every little detail that needed to happen. Every candle was lit, fruit was cut, chairs were placed and food was served all without stopping the flow of the day. We know that we got to have such a gorgeous and relaxing day due to careful planning and effort behind the scenes, we could not be more grateful.

If you are considering Petersons for your event, especially a wedding, they have done events before and it shows. They were a well oiled machine who had every little detail under control from set up on the Friday through to pack up on the Sunday. The accommodation was comfortable, the grounds were pristine and the food was delicious!

We look forward to celebrating our first year as Husband and Wife with Petersons.

What an excellent venue for a wedding. Gardens are absolutely magnificent as was everything associated with a wedding. The marqee was magnificent as was food , wine, service and accomodation. Staff were absolutely amazing. Couldn't ask for a better venue. Thank you to all at Peterson's for making the wedding a spectacular day.

We spent two days here and the place is gorgeous. There's a little quirk about the rooms in the guestho
use which adds to the experience. The staff here are simply wonderful. We had dinner in the restaurant, amazing! followed by breakfast the next morning. We would have liked to have spent more time wondering about the property but the weather wasn't on our side. Of course we had a wine tasting at the cellar door and a cheese platter in the great hall.

We drove past a few times and decided to call in after reading some great reviews. What a hidden gem. We did a wine tasting, at $5 p/h, then ordered a bottle of wine and an antipasto board for 2 and enjoyed the immaculate surrounding gardens. 🐶 friendly. Throughly enjoyed our visit

So many lovely aspects to this stay, including the lovely couch area, dinner setting, and grounds. We also loved the Christmas decorations.

Some improvement areas would be:

1) wifi does not work in the rooms (or certainly not in room six). The staff could not assist. Wifi is critical for those that don’t have the luxury of being off-grid with patchy reception. We had children back home and it was unsettling being uncontactable. Please don’t advertise wifi in rooms if you can’t offer it.

2) The breakfast ambiance was awkward. You could hear a pin drop with how silent it was among the four couples dining, and two of couples including ourselves commented how you need some music.

3) No hairdryer in the rooms, and a fan which didn’t work. Staff kindly replaced this for us although we had to go out and ask.

4) The pillow cases don’t properly cover the pillows, it’s as if they’re too small, which is unhygienic.
