A public ferry which transports vehicles and pedestrians across Berowa Creek. The ferry joins Bay road to Berowa Waters Road.
Operating hours are 24 hours a day, except for the second Tuesday of each month where it is closed for maintenance between midday and 2.30pm.
There are no set times as the ferry runs on demand.
Weekends are busiest and can sometimes be a small queue which clears quickly.
There is no charge to use the ferry.

This is such a nice drive through natural bushland typical of the Sydney North region. The ferry ride over the water is a special treat for the kids. We travelled down from Galston and over to Cowan for a Pie in The Sky. So many varieties of Banksia and native flowers starting to bloom, this will only get better as spring arrives.

One of two car ferries in the Sydney metro area (the other is at Mortlake in the inner west) the Berowra Ferry is located in a beautiful spot on Berowra Creek. There are cafes on both sides of the Creek and the renowned Berowra Waters Inn is a short boat ride away.

Accessed by twisting roads from Berowra or Arcadia, it crosses the creek in a couple of minutes giving panoramic views of the Berowra Waters area. It can be subject to long delays on weekends and holidays of :0 minutes or more, and closes for maintenance one Tuesday each month - check the RMS website for details.

Caught the crossing on Saturday, too MAMIL's not wearing masks. Ferry captain was on it though.
