If you want to enjoy history, this place is great. They have lots of posters around the place explaining the history of the buildings. The rooms are okay. I can see their point of trying to keep them historical, but there comes a time when rooms need to be modern inside whilst keeping their historical vibe. The shuttle van is a stressful experience. Today's driver wouldn't even load our luggage into the van or take it out as well. Expect long waits for the shuttle vans. The cleaning is below average. We were short two towels for two days this time and rubbish was left throughout the room. Last year, our room lights were never replaced even though we requested replacements. Be prepared for some spiders and insects in the rooms, which cannot be helped as it is in a natural environment. Overall, it's an amazing location, so enjoy the setting, not the service. It would be good to see the roads fixed as well. It's a fine line between what should be modern, and what should look like it is the 1800s.

Q Station is a truly unique venue with a rich heritage. It's perfect for a group, as it allows everyone to stay in one place while still having the space and privacy to explore and do their own thing. The proximity to the beach is a wonderful bonus, offering a different venue and experience. The site is private, interesting, and steeped in history, making it an exceptional choice for any event. We highly recommend Q Station for its distinctive charm and historical significance.

The location is amazing and stunning views like nowhere else. Little getaway surrounded by nature, very relaxing, nice little beaches. The reception is lovely, very friendly staff.
The restaurant needs to be booked in advance, the cafe has little food selection and the other place for buffet breakfast has terrible reviews so not even going to try. From the photos it seems they serve toast, muesli and yoghurt. Luckily, Manly has more than enough places for options.
They drive you around in shuttle buses, and every 2 hours for most of the day drive to manly for free. In saying that, all the vans have nothing left of the suspension and drivers are inexperienced, they go over the speedbumps way too fast so you can feel them all through your spine. One older driver seems to be the only one aware of it.
Rooms are okay, though there are spiderwebs everywhere, and while they catch some annoying insects, it's a sign of poor cleaning/maintenance procedures. Taps are barely working.
Overall, it's a great place just because of the location and views.
The buildings and rooms are as basic as they could be, nothing special in terms of design or construction so I think it's a bit overrated but that's just me.

Stayed for 4 nights as a couple between Christmas and New Year. Rooms were comfortable and roomy (the high ceilings were perfect). Whilst I was initially concerned about not having airconditioning on the heat wave day (37°C), this proved not to be a problem. We planned to be out in the middle of the day exploring the Northern beaches in our hire car (free parking at Q-Station), and then took a ferry ride in to the city(where it was sweltering) and immediately returned by 4pm for a swim at Quarantine Beach. Perfect. The characterful, original buildings were designed to cope with this kind of weather and with doors open, privacy curtain closed, in the evening until sleep time, the room cooled down quickly. There was almost always a breeze to be had on the wide, roofed decks. The service of the rooms was excellent. Shuttles to the hotel wharf/beach/cafe/restaurant were plentiful. With buses running every 30 minutes from Manly Wharf to just outside QStation's entrance an further up to the North Head lookouts and hotel shuttles running numerous times a day to Manly, the location was very accessible and quiet from the hustle and bustle of Sydney. There were no noisy groups staying near our rooms for the duration of our stay. All hotel guests were respectful of other guests over our 4 day weekend stay, Thursday to Monday. Q-Station is not a typical hotel, but a unique stay in a National Park in the middle of a world class city, in a stunning location. We loved it. Would recommend to friends and family.

We came here for a wedding yesterday and I honestly couldn’t wait to write a review today. I couldn’t fault my stay. The only little down side would be that the rooms don’t have air conditioning, but I guess each room does have a ceiling fan actually does a good job.

The staff were so nice and helpful especially one who stood out was Kianni (apologies if I spelt her name wrong)

The venues, beachside cafes and the ocean were also a stand out.

We had such a great time that we booked to stay again in a month.

My wife and I came from Perth (WA) and we booked two nights at Q station. We were super happy with the facilities and service provided. The room was spacious and clean. Uber eats delivered our orders every night to the reception and the shuttle bus brought the food to us every day with a big smile from the driver. All staff members were friendly and very professional. Private toilet and shower outside the room, which gives you extra privacy. Views were stunning and the connection to the city was exceptional thanks to the shuttle bus. We'll visit it again if we're over in the future. Highly recommended.

We just held our wedding at Q Station and it was absolutely perfect! Most of our wedding planning was from 12,000 km away as we currently live overseas and Jaimee was incredible at helping us plan – from the day she joined us through our wedding day. We could not have done this without her 🙂
Our wedding was held at Harbour Vista and then onto the Gov Bourke Ballroom and every part was managed so carefully. From following our set-up instructions (to fulfil our dream visual elements) to ensuring the shuttles got everyone where they needed to be on time. We also stayed 3 nights and loved the heritage vibes and feeling that we were in secluded wilderness. Our wedding day was so fun and so special and Q station will always hold a special place in or hearts. Thank you!

Fantastic location. Rooms are very expensive for what you get.. or don't get...eg air conditioning.. place is a bit tired. We had to use the waste bin to flush the toilet.
