I have been a customer of Magic Cruises in the past an actually thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This year however, quite the reverse. The departure wharf was changed without any notice at all and to make it worse, Vivid Organisers and the Police wouldn't allow us to make our way to the new departure wharf. "Contact the event organisers on Tuesday" they chanted. Magic Cruises couldn't be contacted on the night.

Came today June 9 for the 8:45 cruise, arrived at the pick up location at the Eastern Pontoon just around 8:00PM to be informed that the location for pick up has been moved to Man O War steps next to the opera house. Attempted to get there but police wouldn’t let public in due to the full capacity. Even informed them and beg to let us through the pontoon as we have cruise tickets but was turned away. This could have been avoided if prior notice like days prior was done. Frustrated with this years event for the date. Thumbs down.

We had our staff Christmas Party on Magic Cruises and had the most amazing time!
The staff are fantastic and all went over and beyond. We were all made to feel very welcomed from before boarding and this vibe continued throughout the whole day. We extended the cruise by an hour as we couldn't get enough and all walked off with the best memories. Thank you Magic Cruises! Phenomenal!!

If it wasn’t for the majestic harbour that we live on, I probably would have scored it lower.
We had a great time because the groups of friends we shared this with are amazing. The blonde barmaid that was on duty through the night was another story. From the get go, she was less than friendly and it was if she didn’t even want to be there. Yes we had a few that were a bit rowdy and had a few drinks however the way things were handled by both the captain and the barmaid could have been very different.. as we all alighted from the boat, the blonde barmaid gave us all “the finger”.
Wow!!! Very professional and sooo disappointing!! No magic here from the crew!!!
