Always making sure passengers get the best experience while respecting the required distance regulations and putting safety first.

Incredible experience with Nick and Capt Willo on a 3 hour trip this morning from the harbour. I’d imagined that we’d maybe see a couple of whales at best but we saw at least 12 humpback whales including 3 that gave us a special show. Truly unforgettable experience.

The guys were welcoming and showed their skill at finding the whales, whilst also being respectful of the distance we were keeping. They were great company, genuine enthusiasts and happy to chat throughout. A lot of fun at a reasonable price. Couldn’t recommend it more.

What a great experience it was! Thank you Go Whale Watching crew, for such friendly and attentive service, always making sure we were getting a great view of these wonderful creatures, worried if everyone was able to sightsee them and making sure to follow the guidelines to protect the whales space.

What an experience! Went out yesterday and did not disappoint! Fun & friendly crew who clearly know what they are doing and how to look after the wildlife. Highlight was one whale popping up a metre in front of us on the bow! We had a mum & calf showing us tricks and a male too. Such an enjoyable ride and great value for money. Thanks team!

Enjoyed one of the best whale watching experiences yesterday, Monday October 7, 2024, with this fabulous family owned whale watching business. I have booked with them in the past and I knew one trip wasn't going to be enough for me....I actually booked two. The vessel, Cat Balou, is a great size with plenty of open deck space to view the passing whales. What made the day so special was the phenomenal crew. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Willo, the skipper, was a master at positioning the vessel appropriately to give all guests great views of the whales whilst also ensuring he adhered to the regulations regarding whale watching so as not to impact or endanger the whales safety. His commentary was informative as well as being lively and entertaining... a perfect balance. Nic, the deck hand, did a splendid job delivering the safety demonstration, spotting for whales and ensuring all passengers were enjoying the experience. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this company. They are definitely one of the best in the business. I will be booking again.

Went on this trip late August. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly, plus working over time when seasickness hit. Boat was clean and had space for indoor and outdoor seating (prepared to get wet at front if gets choppy). Capt and staff were quite intuitive with whale activity and being patient paid off when we saw many whales breach quite close to boat. Called our sightings and waiting for whales to return to surface for good views. Obviously a bit of luck and little skill in whale watching but they are very incredible to see up close!

Do listen to their suggestions regarding eating beforehand/taking meds and fresh air! And dress warmly! Feet might get wet depending on where you stand!

Just got off a fantastic whale watching experience with Go Whale Watching Sydney on 10 October 2024. We saw lots of whales. The whales swam up close and were jumping and waving their fins. The boat was great, not too crowded so everyone could move from side to side to see the whales. The deckhand and Skipper knew their stuff and got us in the right spot to see the whales. The other boats followed our one. Highly recommended
