What a wonderful way to discover information about oysters and oyster farming. We had a great two hour info tour and sampled delicious fresh oysters. Scottie enjoyed sharing a wealth of interesting facts about oysters and how they are farmed. He patiently answered all our questions.

What a wonderful morning exploring Pambula Lake learning all about Sydney Rock Oysters. The surrounds are beautiful and it was so peaceful to go boating through the different parts of the lake, including spotting eagle's nests. Scotty was a fantastic guide. Thank you!

Our small group plus a 3 year old had a great time on this tour. Scott was very knowledgeable and the tour just had a nice flow to it.
They oysters we tasted on board were excellent.
Would highly recommend this tour for oyster lovers and foodies or if you just like a nice boat cruise amongst Australias coastal bush.

It's been 4 years since I've been here with the family and a proper review is due. Whenever oysters are brought up in conversation, I would always tell people about the amazing, informative, family freindly tour at Captian Sponges. I went in the winter, so there were no cruise ship tourists, so we had the tour all to ourselves with a family of 6. I live in USA and people are disappointed when I tell them its in Australia.

Reminder to not be the bad customer and miss the ask to arrive 15 minutes early. You’ll arrive at 9 and have your stomach drop when you see the boat chug off. You can try and email to reach out and not get any response.

We had a nice time on the Pambula River joining the oyster tour. Scotty was our captain and he shared a lot of oyster knowledge with us! We got to taste some freshly opened oysters while we were on the boat! It was delicious!!
